THE A3200 GLA ROAD (ADDINGTON STREET, LONDON BOROUGH OF LAMBETH) (TEMPORARY PROHIBITION OF TRAFFIC AND BANNED TURN) ORDER 2026

1. Transport for London hereby gives notice that it intends to make the above named Traffic Order under section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 for the purpose specified in paragraph. The effect of the Order is summarised in paragraph 3.

2. The purpose of the Order is to enable carriageway patch repair work to take place on the A3200 Addington Street.

The effect of the Order will be to prohibit any vehicle: except for pedal cycles from proceeding in a northerly direction on the A3200 Addington Street between its junctions with Westminster Bridge Road and York Road;

 from turning right from Westminster Bridge Road onto the A3200 Addington Street.

The Order will be effective at certain times between 12th June 2026 and 13th September 2026 every night from 8:00 PM to 5:00 AM, or when the works have been completed whichever is the sooner. The prohibition will apply only during such times and to such extent as shall from time to time be indicated by traffic signs.

The prohibitions will not apply in respect of:  any vehicle being used for the purposes of those works or for fire brigade, ambulance or police purposes;

anything done with the permission or at the direction of a police constable in uniform or a person authorised by Transport for London.

5. At such times as the prohibitions are in force an alternative route will be indicated by traffic signs via Westminster Bridge Road, Baylis Road, Waterloo Road and York Road to normal route of travel. Or via Westminster Bridge Road, Lambeth Palace Road, Lambeth Road, Kennington Road, Baylis Road, Waterloo Road and York Road to normal route of travel.
