THE METROPOLITAN BOROUGH OF BURY (B6218 HEYWOOD STREET & ANDREW STREET, BURY) (PROHIBITION OF WAITING) ORDER 2026

NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that Bury Metropolitan Borough has made the above named Order under the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 as follows:-

SCHEDULE

NO WAITING AT ANY TIME

Location Restriction
B6218 Heywood Street, Bury West side, from a point 8m south of the southerly kerbline of Mason Street for a distance of 60m in a southerly direction.
B6218 Heywood Street, Bury East side, from a point 11m north of the northerly kerbline of Andrew Street for a distance of 30m in a southerly direction.
Andrew Street, Bury North side, extending for a distance of 4.5m in an easterly direction from the existing modal filter at Heywood Street.
Andrew Street, Bury South side, extending for a distance of 5m in an easterly direction from the existing modal filter at Heywood Street.
Andrew Street, Bury Running between the north and south side of Andrew Street for a distance of 7.3m adjacent to the existing modal filter on Heywood Street.

A copy of the Order which comes into operation on 8th June 2026, a plan showing the roads and areas affected and a statement of the Council’s reasons for making the Order may be requested by email at engcon@bury.gov.uk  quoting reference TM35/26 or by inspection at the Town Hall reception, Monday to Friday, 9:00am to 4:30pm.

If you wish to question the validity of the Order or any provision contained in it on the grounds that it is not within the powers conferred by the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, or on the grounds that any requirement of that Act, or any instrument made under it has not been complied with in relation to the Order, you may within 6 weeks of 28th May 2026 apply to the High Court for that purpose. Please note that all representations received may be considered in public by the Council and that the substance of any representation together with the name and address of the person making it could become available for public inspection.

NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that Bury Metropolitan Borough has made the above named Order under the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 as follows:-

SCHEDULE

NO WAITING AT ANY TIME

Location Restriction
B6218 Market Street, Bury West side, from a point 30m south of the projected southerly kerbline of Trinity Street for a distance of 82m in a southerly direction.
B6218 Market Street, Bury West side, from a point 141m south of the projected southerly kerbline of Trinity Street for a distance of 80m in a southerly direction.
B6218 Market Street, Bury West side, from a point 60m north of the northerly kerbline of Wellington Road for a distance of 59m in a northerly direction.

The Metropolitan Borough of Bury (Pay and Display on Street parking places) (Amendment No 4) is hereby revoked in it’s entirety.
