Notice is hereby given that Cornwall Council intends to make the above Order in exercise of its powers under Section 14(1) of the RTRA 1984 to temporarily prohibit the use by traffic of the undermentioned length of highway in Redruth. 

This prohibition is necessary for wall repairs and it is expected that the closure will be from 22nd June 2026 to 3rd July 2026. The prohibition will be in force 24 hours a day, weekends included. 

Public right of way affected - Footpath 34, Redruth for its entire length.

Notice is hereby given that Cornwall Council has made the above Order dated 25th May 2026 in exercise of its powers under Section 14(1) of the RTRA 1984 to temporarily prohibit the use by traffic of the undermentioned length of road in Carnkie. 

This prohibition is necessary for water connection works and it is expected that the closure will be from 8th June 2026 to 12th June 2026.

This prohibition is necessary for cabling works and it is expected that the closure will be from 25th June 2026 to 26th June 2026.

Notice is hereby given that Cornwall Council has made the above Order dated 25th May 2026 in exercise of its powers under Section 14(1) of the RTRA 1984 to temporarily prohibit the use by traffic of the undermentioned length of road in Ruan High Lanes. 

This prohibition is necessary for culvert silt clearance works and it is expected that the closure will be from 8th June 2026 to 9th June 2026.

Notice is hereby given that Cornwall Council has made the above Order dated 25th May 2026 in exercise of its powers under Section 14(1) of the RTRA 1984 to temporarily prohibit the use by traffic of the undermentioned lengths of road in Treluswell. 

This prohibition is necessary for gully emptying works and it is expected that the closure will be from 8th June 2026 to 11th June 2026. 

The prohibition will be in force between the hours of 1900 and 0600, weekdays only. 

Roads affected - B3292 Between Four Cross And Lower Treluswell, B3292 Between Lower Treluswell And Browns Hill, The Praze, Church Road, Commercial Road, for their entire lengths and Falmouth Road, Penryn between the junctions of Commercial Road and Ponsharden. Notice is hereby given that Cornwall Council intends to make the above Order in exercise of its powers under Section 14(1) of the RTRA 1984 to temporarily prohibit the use by traffic of the undermentioned length of road in Perranwell Station. This prohibition is necessary for disconnect water supply works and it is expected that the closure will be from 22nd June 2026 to 24th June 2026. 

The prohibition will be in force 24 hours a day, weekdays only.

This prohibition is necessary for corn-pipe repair works and it is expected that the closure will be from 23rd June 2026 to 25th June 2026. 

The prohibition will be in force 24 hours a day, weekdays only. Roads affected - Polmarth, Carnmenellis between the junctions of Penmarth and The Retreat, The Retreat, Menherion for its entire length and Yellow Wort, Carnmenellis between the junctions of The Retreat and Menherion.

This prohibition is necessary for cabling works and it is expected that the closure will be from 23rd June 2026 for one day. 

The prohibition will be in force between the hours of 0930 and 1530, weekdays only. Road affected - Kersey Road, Falmouth between the junctions of Coventry Road and Orchard Vale.

Notice is hereby given that Cornwall Council has made the above Order dated 25th May 2026 in exercise of its powers under Section 14(1) of the RTRA 1984 to temporarily prohibit the use by traffic of the undermentioned length of road in Kenwyn. 

This prohibition is necessary for poling and cabling works and it is expected that the closure will be from 10th June 2026 to 11th June 2026. 

The prohibition will be in force between the hours of 1900 and 0700, weekdays only. Road affected - Rosedale Road, Kenwyn between the junction of Kenwyn Road and grid reference SW82130 45345.

Cornwall Council
Section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 (RTRA 1984)
Temporary Prohibition of Traffic Order 2026 

Notice is hereby given that Cornwall Council is under the above Order dated 4th March 2026 continuing to prohibit the use by traffic over an area of highway being Hendra Road, Stithians for its entire length. 

The Order which commenced on the 5th March 2026 and is currently in force for up to eighteen months will now continue until the 5th June 2026. The prohibition will be in force 24 hours a day, weekends included. 

The Council is satisfied that this further restriction is necessary owing to engineering difficulties and the Order is needed because works are being executed on or near the road to carry out sewer repairs. 

Nothing in this Order will apply to traffic associated with the works required within the highway specified above, any vehicle being used for the purposes of an undertaker in an emergency, such as loss of utility supplies and anything done with the permission of or at the discretion of a police officer.
