The Borough Council of Bolton has made an Order under the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, which will be operative from 4th June 2026.
The effect of the Order will be as follows:
Deletions:
No Waiting At Any Time
Academy Way (south) and Academy Way (north-east).
Additions:
No Waiting At Any Time:
Harrier Close (both), Academy Way (south), Academy Way (north), Academy Way (south) and Mill Lane (both).
THE BOLTON (20 MPH SPEED LIMIT AND TURNING RESTRICTIONS) (ACADEMY WAY AND MILL LANE, LOSTOCK) (NO.5) ORDER 2026
The Borough Council of Bolton has made an Order under the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, which will be operative from 4th June 2026.
The effect of the Order will be as follows:
20MPH Speed Limit:
Academy Way (for its entire length), Coachfield Drive (for its entire length), Harrier Close (for its entire length), Hawkers Lane (for its entire length), Sky Lark Close (for its entire length) and Foxhunter Close (for its entire length).
No Left Turn Restrictions:
Academy Way (at its junction with Mill Lane), BWFC Academy Car Park (at its junction with Mill Lane), Mill Lane (at its junction with Academy Way) and Mill Lane (at its junction with BWFC Academy Car Park).
No Right Turn Restrictions:
Academy Way (at its junction with Mill Lane),
BWFC Academy Car Park (at its junction with Mill Lane),
Mill Lane (at its junction with Academy Way) and
Mill Lane (at its junction with BWFC Academy Car Park).
The Borough Council of Bolton has made an Order under the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, which will be operative from 4th June 2026.
A copy of the Order, together with relevant plans and statement of the reasons may be viewed online at www.bolton.gov.uk/trafficorders and at the One Stop Shop, Town Hall, Bolton during office hours. Anybody wishing to question the Order’s provisions or validity may, within 6 weeks from the 28th May 2026 apply to the High Court for this purpose.
