THE A38 TRUNK ROAD (LEE MILL) (TEMPORARY PROHIBITION OF TRAFFIC) ORDER 2026
NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that National Highways Limited (a) intends to make an Order on the A38 trunk road in the County of Devon to allow cable and associated maintenance works to be carried out in safety.
The works are expected to take place over one evening (19.00 to 22.00) commencing on or after 15 June 2026.
The effect of the Order would be the closure of the A38 eastbound exit slip road at Lee Mill Junction. During the closures, traffic would be diverted via junctions of the A38 and local roads.
The closure (which would not apply to emergency service, traffic officer or works vehicles) and diversion route would be clearly indicated by traffic signs throughout the works.
The Order would come into force on 13 June 2026 and have a maximum duration of 18 months.
