NOTICE is hereby given that Herefordshire Council, as highway authority, have, under its relevant powers, made the following Order: U66407- Harcourt RoadMathon, Temporary Road Closure Order, to temporarily prohibit the use by vehicles on the U66407- Harcourt Road- Mathon, outside The Orchard. Grid Ref: 374762/244653.
The alternative route for those affected by the proposal is via Ham Green Road From C1162 To Harcourt Road onto the C1162 From Mathon Road To Heath Mill and vice versa.
The said closure is required due to new connection works and the likelihood of danger to the public whilst the works are taking place. The said closure will come into force on 2nd of June 2026 and remain in force for a maximum period of 18 months (unless extended with the consent of the Secretary of State) but the works are expected to be completed within 2 days.
