NOTICE OF TEMPORARY PROHIBITION OF TRAFFIC – ROAD TRAFFIC REGULATION ACT 1984 – Trouthall Lane, Plumley
Notice is hereby given that the Cheshire East Borough Council in exercise of its powers under Section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, and of all other enabling powers has made an order the effect of which will be to temporarily prohibit traffic.
Prohibition of traffic – Trouthall Lane, Plumley – Outside Trout Barn.
The alternative route will be via Trouthall Lane, Back Lane, Plumley Moor Road and vice versa which is considered the most suitable route.
This order will come into operation on Monday 1st June 2026 and will continue in force for 18 months or for such less time as is necessary to complete the work to be executed in the highway, although it is anticipated that the works will be completed by Sunday 14th June 2026.

Notice is hereby given that the Cheshire East Borough Council in exercise of its powers under Section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, and of all other enabling powers has made an order the effect of which will be to temporarily prohibit traffic.
Prohibition of traffic – Congleton Road, Alderley Edge – From the junction of Welsh Row to Holmacre.
The alternative route will be via Congleton Road, Welsh Row, Frog Lane Roundabout, Melrose Way, Whitehall Bridge Roundabout, Wilmslow Road, London Road and vice versa which is considered the most suitable route.
This order will come into operation on Monday 1st June 2026 and will continue in force for 18 months or for such less time as is necessary to complete the work to be executed in the highway, although it is anticipated that the works will be completed by Sunday 14th June 2026.

ROAD TRAFFIC REGULATION ACT 1984
(Prohibition and Restriction of Waiting, Loading, Stopping and Street Parking Places) (VARIOUS ROADS) (Consolidation) Order 2022 (Amendment No. 54) ORDER 2026
NOTICE OF PROPOSAL
Notice is hereby given that the Cheshire East Borough Council proposes to make an Order under Sections 1, 2, 4, 32, 35, 38, 45, 46, 49, 51, 53, 61 and 124 and Parts III and IV of Schedule 9 of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, as amended, and all other enabling powers and in accordance with its duty under Section 122 of the said Act.
The effect of the proposed Order will be to: -
Amend the Cheshire East Borough Council (Prohibition and restriction of Waiting, Loading, Stopping and Street Parking Places) (Various Roads) (Consolidation) Order 2022 by;
i. Introducing Electric Vehicle Charging Places as outlined in Schedule 1 below and by replacing Map Tile No.s AM123 and AP119 in the Consolidation Order schedules.
The restrictions and/or prohibitions imposed by this proposed Order shall be in addition to and not in derogation of any restrictions or requirements imposed by any regulations made or having effect as if made under the Act or by or under any other enactment.

(Introduction of Electric Vehicle Charging Places)
Bexton Road, Knutsford
From a point 17m northwest of Cranford Avenue junction, for 23m in a north-westerly direction.
Overfields, Knutsford
From a point 18m southeast of Shaw Drive junction, for 23m in a south-easterly direction.
