PROHIBITION OF TRAFFIC) ORDER 2026
NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the Wolverhampton City
Council have made an Order under Section 14(1)(a) of the
Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, as substituted by the
Road Traffic (Temporary Restrictions) Act 1991, prohibiting
vehicles from proceeding on the following stretches of
road:
l Skinner Street closed its entire length. Access to
frontages maintained. It is anticipated that the closure
will operate from 17:00 on 2 June 2026 until 05:00 on
3 June 2026.
l George Street closed its entire length and St Johns
Square closed between its junctions with Bond Street
and George Street. It is anticipated that the closure will
operate from 17:00 on 3 June 2026 until 05:00 on 4 June
2026.
The Order may operate for a maximum period of eighteen
months, but it is anticipated that the closures will operate
on the dates detailed above, between the times specified.
The Order is required to facilitate filming.
