THE WOLVERHAMPTON CITY COUNCIL
(ECCLESHALL AVENUE) (TEMPORARY
PROHIBITION OF TRAFFIC) ORDER 2026
NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the Wolverhampton City
Council an Order under Section 14(1)(a) of the have made
Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, as substituted by the
Road Traffic (Temporary Restrictions) Act 1991, prohibiting
vehicles from proceeding on Eccleshall Avenue between
properties 55-53c.
The Order may operate for a maximum period of eighteen
months, but it is anticipated that the works will be
undertaken on 2 June 2026, between the hours of 09:30
and 15:30.
The diversion route is: Beech Road, Churchfield Road and
vice versa.
The Order is required to facilitate the installation of a new
telecoms pole by BT.
