ORDER 2026
NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the Wolverhampton City
Council have made an Order under Section 14(1)(a) of the
Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, as substituted by the
Road Traffic (Temporary Restrictions) Act 1991, prohibiting
vehicles from proceeding on the following stretches of
road:
l Bath Street closed from its junction with Brook Street to
the side of Meadwood Industrial Estate. It is anticipated
that the closure will operate from 1 June 2026 until
28 June 2026. Vehicular diversion route: Brook Street,
Oxford Street Island, Black Country Route westerly
direction or Coseley Road Island, Black Country Route
easterly direction.
l Brook Street closed between its junctions with Bath
Street and Railway Drive. It is anticipated that the closure
will operate from 28 June 2026 until 31 July 2026.
Vehicular diversion route: Oxford Street Island, Black
Country Route, Bath Street westerly direction or Coseley
Road Island, Black Country Route easterly direction.
The Order may operate for a maximum period of eighteen
months, but it is anticipated that the works will be
undertaken between the dates specified above.
The Order is required to facilitate the construction of a new
bell mouth by DSS Civil Engineering Limited.
