Notice is given that the Council of the City of Peterborough has made an Order pursuant to section 14(1)(a) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984:

The City of Peterborough Temporary Prohibition of Through Traffic Order 2026 –  Willow Hall Lane Ref: 27-086

The effect of which is to stop any vehicle from proceeding along the road known as Willow Hall Lane, at PJ Thory entrance. The Council is satisfied that traffic should be prohibited due to proposed works being executed on the above road. The alternative route for vehicles affected by this order is: A47, Paston Parkway, Parnwell Way, Oxney Road, Edgerly Drain Road, Storeys Bar Road, Pearces Road, Willow Hall Lane and vice versa. The proposed order will come into force on 02/06/2026 and will continue until the surfacing repair works have been completed or until the 01/06/2027, whichever is the earlier. The Council is satisfied that traffic should be prohibited due to proposed works being executed on the above road. The alternative route for vehicles affected by this order is: Bainton Green Road, Helpston Road, Ufford Road and vice versa. The proposed order will come into force on 02/06/2026 and will continue until the remedial works have been completed or until the 01/06/2027, whichever is the earlier. Closure dates will be confirmed locally on site. It is anticipated that the works will take place between 02/06/2026 and 04/06/2026. The City of Peterborough Temporary Prohibition of Through Traffic Order 2026 –  Maxey Road, Helpston  Ref: 27-060

The effect of which is to stop any vehicle from proceeding along the road known as Maxey Road, Helpston as lies between points 20 metres either side of Maxey Level Crossing. The Council is satisfied that traffic should be prohibited due to proposed works being executed on the above road. The alternative route for vehicles affected by this order is: via B1443 Glinton Rd, Helpston Rd, A15, Maxey Rd, High St and vice versa. The proposed Order will come into force on the 30/05/2026 and will continue until the railway level crossing maintenance works have been completed or until the 29/05/2027, whichever is the earlier.  Closure dates will be confirmed locally on site. The effect of which is to stop any vehicle from proceeding along the road known as Mill Road, Barnack, the junction of Mill Road and Heath Road. The Council is satisfied that traffic should be prohibited due to proposed works being executed on the above road. The alternative route for vehicles affected by this order is: The Green Drift, Mill Road and vice versa. The proposed order will come into force on the 01/06/2026 and will continue until the remedial works have been completed or until the 31/05/2027, whichever is the earlier. Closure dates will be confirmed locally on site. It is anticipated that the works will take place between the 01/06/2026 and the 03/06/2026. The Council is satisfied that traffic should be prohibited due to proposed works being executed on the above road. The alternative route for vehicles affected by this order is: Parker Road, Carnegie Road and vice versa. The proposed order will come into force on the 08/06/2026 and will continue until the communication pipe repair works have been completed or until the 07/06/2027, whichever is the earlier. Closure dates will be confirmed locally on site. It is anticipated that the works will take place between the 08/06/2026 and the 10/06/2026. The Council is satisfied that traffic should be prohibited due to proposed works being executed on the above road. There is no alternative route for vehicles affected by this order, access will be maintained. The proposed order will come into force on the 10/06/2026 and will continue until the fire hydrant repair works have been completed or until the 09/06/2027, whichever is the earlier. Closure dates will be confirmed locally on site. It is anticipated that the works will take place overnight only between 1900 on 10/06/2026 and 0600 on  11/06/2026. The alternative route for vehicles affected by this order is: via Glinton Rd, Maxey Rd, Helpston, Maxey Road, Maxey, High Street, Maxey Road, Northborough, A15, Helpston Road, Glinton, Helpston Road, Etton and vice versa. The proposed Order will come into force on the 06/06/2026 and will continue until the railway level crossing maintenance works have been completed or until the 05/06/2027, whichever is the earlier. Closure dates will be confirmed locally on site.
