(TEMPORARY NO WAITING)  ORDER 2026

The Scottish Borders Council (A6105 Newtown Street, Duns) (Temporary No Waiting) Order 2026 has been made under Section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 as amended. The Order, which has a maximum duration of 18 months, will come into force at 08:00 on 1 June 2026 and is expected to remain in effect until 18:00 on 3 June 2026. The Order is required for BT works.

When the Order comes into effect no person shall permit any vehicle to wait or to be parked along the north side of the A6105 Newtown Street, Duns from the junction with Gourlay’s Wynd to Number 24 Newtown Street. A two-way lights system shall be in operation. A map showing the restriction can be seen at  www.tellmescotland.gov.uk

(MARKET SQUARE, COLDSTREAM)

(TEMPORARY CLOSING) ORDER 2026

The Scottish Borders Council (Market Square, Coldstream) (Temporary Closing) Order 2026 has been made under Section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 as amended. The Order, which has a maximum duration of 18 months, will come into force on 2 June 2026 and is expected to remain in effect for a period of one day between the hours of 09:30 and 15:30. The Order is required for BT Openreach works.

When the Order comes into effect no person shall drive or cause or permit to be driven any vehicle along Market Square, Coldstream.

The alternative route for eastbound traffic is via Market Square to the point of closure, for westbound traffic the reverse of the foregoing.
