(B4194 Lower Park, Bewdley) (Temporary One-Way Closure) Order 2026

Order made: To close that part of B4194 Lower Park in a southerly direction only from its junction with U10500 Lax Ln for a distance of 82 metres.

Reason: Due to safety for the erection and dismantle of scaffolding to undertake repairs to property by RDA Builders.

Alternative route: Diversion clockwise: B4194 High St, B4190 Load St, B4195 Stourport Rd, A456 Stourport Rd, B4195 Bewdley Rd (North), B4195 Bewdley Rd, B4195 Worcester St, A451 Gilgal, A451 Mitton St, A451 High St, A451 Bridge St, A451 Dunley Rd, B4194 Ribbesford Rd, B4194 Red Hill.

Diversion Anti-clockwise: B4194 Red Hill, B4194 Ribbesford Rd, A451 Dunley Rd, A451 Bridge St, A451 High St, A451 Vale Rd, B4195 Bewdley Rd, B4195 Bewdley Rd (North), A456 Stourport Rd, B4195 Stourport Rd, B4190 Load St, B4194 High St and vice versa.

Maximum duration: 18 Months.

Anticipated duration: 61 days (full closure: 1.6.26 09:30-13:30 for erecting) (full closure: 31.7.26 11:30-15:30 for dismantling) (One-Way Southbound closure 02.6.26-30.07.26).

Commencing: 1 June 2026.

(A456 Birmingham Road, Kidderminster) (Temporary Closure) Order 2026

Order made: To close that part of A456 Birmingham Rd from its junction with C2126 Churchill Ln to its junction with U12400 Hurcott Ln.

Reason: Grass Cutting by WCC.

Alternative route: A456 Kidderminster Rd South, A450 Worcester Rd, A448 Bromsgrove Rd, A448 Stone Hill, A448 Comberton Rd, A449 Chester Rd North and vice versa.

Maximum duration: 18 Months.

Anticipated duration: 1 day.

Commencing: 31 May 2026.

(U95612 Worles Common, Stockton) (Temporary Closure) Order 2026

Order made: To close that part of U95612 Worles Common from its junction with B4202 Pensax to its junction with U95612 Worles Common.

Reason: Concrete spillway installation by WCC.

Alternative route: B4202 Pensax, C2024 Pensax Rd, C2024 Pensax, C2024 Stockton, U95612 Worles Common (part) and vice versa.

Maximum duration: 18 Months.

Anticipated duration: 2 days.

Commencing: 4 June 2026.

Proposed Order: To close that part of Link Footpath F10370 Kidderminster Island from its junction with U12147 New Rd to its junction with Link Footpath F10370 Subway to the other side for Worcester Rd.

Reason: New electricity cable installation by Infrastructure Gateway Ltd.

Alternative route: U12187 Island Dr, U12148 Green St, U12155 Oxford St, U12147 New Rd and vice versa.

Maximum duration: 6 Months.

Anticipated duration: 26 days (24hrs).

Commencing: 22 June 2026.

(C2082 Cakebole, Kidderminster) (Temporary Closure) Order 2026

Proposed Order: To close that part of C2082 Cakebole from its junction with C2082 Cakebole Ln to its junction with C2014 Curslow Ln.

Reason: Renew telegraph pole by Openreach.

Alternative route: C2014 Curslow Ln, A448 Bromsgrove Rd, A448 Lodge Ford Hill, C2082 Fox Ln, C2082 Cakebole Ln and vice versa.

Maximum duration: 18 Months.

Anticipated duration: 1 day.

Commencing: 22 June 2026.

EXEMPTIONS: TO PERMIT ACCESS TO ANY LAND OR PREMISES FRONTING THE HIGHWAY AFFECTED WHERE THERE IS NO OTHER FORM OF ACCESS; AND TO ALLOW THE WORKS TO BE UNDERTAKEN.

Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 (As Amended)

(Wyre Forest District – Kidderminster area) (Permitted Parking Area and Special Parking Area) (Waiting Restrictions and Street Parking Places) Consolidation Order 2007 (Variation) Order 2026 [Prohibition of Waiting on Whitehouse Road, Kidderminster]

Worcestershire County Council are to consider making an Order the effect of which will be to extend the prohibition of waiting on the following length and side of road in Kidderminster:-

Whitehouse Road (east side): from a point 149m west of its junction with Worcester Road for a distance of 14 metres in a northerly direction.

The Order will vary the above Consolidation Order (which provides for civil enforcement of contraventions of waiting prohibitions and restrictions) and will contain exemptions to allow parking/access for certain purposes and limited waiting by disabled persons’ vehicles.

(Bridleway CC-519, Chaddesley Corbett) (Temporary Closure Order) 2026

Proposed Order: To close Bridleway CC-519, Chaddesley Corbett from its junction with Worcester Road (OSGR 389070, 276897) to its junction with Bridleway CC-518 and footpaths CC-523 and BZ-542, Broome (GR 388839, 277093).

The Order has been made due to a danger present from plant movement and groundworks associated with water pipe installation.

Exemptions: To permit access to any land or premises having a frontage to the highway affected where there is no other form of access; and to allow the necessary works to be undertaken.

Alternative route: Bridleway CC-518, U13406 Sandy Lane, Bridleway CB-541 Churchill and Blakedown, BZ-524, BZ-525, A450 Worcester Road and vice versa.

The proposed Order will continue in force for a period not exceeding 6 months or until the works which it is proposed to be carried out have been completed, whichever is the earlier. However, it is anticipated that the Order will only be operative for 6 months commencing on 22 June 2026.
