CHINGFORD MOUNT ROAD E4 – RAISED ZEBRA CROSSING (T23(25))
NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the Council of the LBWF under section 23 of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, sections 90A and 90C of the Highways Act 1980 and the Highways (Road Humps) Regulation 1999 propose to provide a raised *speed table and a Zebra crossing in Chingford Mount Road (Rd) E4 so that the centre of the crossing is situated approximately 8.3 metres(m) south of the southern kerb line of Frankland Rd. Associated zig-zag markings on which vehicles would be prohibited from stopping ‘at all times’ will be placed on the carriageway either side of the crossing extending 17m to the north and south.
*Note: The speed table (9.8m) mentioned in this Notice would be an elevated section of carriageway between 75 and 100 mm higher at their highest point than the surrounding carriageway, or at an equal level with the surrounding pavement and extending across the full width of the carriageway, including any gradients.
Any person desiring to object to the proposals or to make any other representation should send a statement in writing of either their objection and the grounds thereof or if their representation to; Traffic Orders, Highways, Low Hall, Argall Avenue, London E10 7AS, or by emailing traffic.scheme@walthamforest.gov.uk, quoting scheme reference T23(25) – Chingford Mount Rd E4 Zebra Crossing by the end of a period of 21 days from the date on which this Notice is published. All objections must specify the grounds on which they are made.
