NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that because NGN Gas replacement scheme works are being or are proposed to be executed on or near the under mentioned highways; Leeds City Council has today made an Order the effect of which will be that: No person shall cause or permit any vehicle to travel along Smalewell Road, Pudsey, Leeds in the Pudsey Ward at its junction with Tyersal Lane. No diversion route necessary, access to Tyersal Lane for residents only Essential access to premises and for emergency vehicles will be maintained. The Order is intended to come into operation on Thursday 28th May 2026 and will remain in force for a maximum period of 18 months or until the works are completed if earlier. The works are expected to be completed by Wednesday 10th June 2026. The closure will be in place 24 hrs on each day. Ref: ECO2600026

NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that because gas replacement works are being or are proposed to be executed on or near the under mentioned highway(s); Leeds City Council has today made an Order the effect of which will be that: No person shall cause or permit any vehicle to travel south west on The Fairway, Alwoodley, Leeds in the Alwoodley Ward between its junctions with Alwoodley Lane to house number 57 The Fairway. A diversionary route for vehicles affected by the closure will be available via: Alwoodley Lane, Mount Drive. Essential access to and from premises and for emergency vehicles will be maintained. The Order shall come into operation on Friday 29th May 2026 and will remain in force for a maximum period of 18 months or until the works are completed if earlier. A diversionary route for vehicles affected by the closure will be available via: Cross Green Crescent, Cross Green Lane, Cross Green Road and vice versa. Essential access to and from premises and for emergency vehicles will be maintained.The Order is intended to come into operation on Saturday 6th June 2026 and will remain in force for a maximum period of 18 months or until the works are completed if earlier. NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that because new sewer and cable ductworks are required for on or near the under mentioned highway(s), Leeds City Council intends (in not less than 7 days) to make an Order the effect of which will be that: No person shall cause or permit any vehicle to travel along New Temple Gate and Temple Avenue, Halton, Leeds in the Temple Newsam Ward; between its junctions with Temple Newsam Road and Grove Road.Diversionary routes for vehicles affected by the closures will be available for New Temple Gate via: Temple Newsam Road, Selby Road (B6159), To the Roundabout, Selby Road (B6159), Temple Gate,Templegate Green, Templegate Avenue, New Temple Gate and Temple Close; and for Temple Newsam Road via: Temple Close, New Temple Gate, Templegate Avenue, Templegate GRN ,Temple Gate, Selby Road (B6159), Irwin Approach, Temple Newsam Road. (Temporary Prohibition of Use) Order 2026
NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that due to refurbishment and re-installing of the structure HUL 4/20 Crawshaw Bridge; Leeds City Council has today made an Order In the interests of public safety, the effect of is that: No person shall proceed along Definitive Footpath 124; from junctions with Barrowby Lane and Barnbow Lane, in the Crossgate’s and Whinmoor Ward and Temple Newsam Ward. A temporary diversion for the closure will be Definitive Bridleway Leeds 125, Definitive Bridleway Austhorpe 1, William Parkin Way, Manston Lane and vice-versa. The Order shall come into operation on 6 June 2026 and to remain in force 24 hours per day, for a maximum period of 6 months. (Speed Limits) (City Wide) Order 2025 Amendment Order No.4 2026 – Introduction of 20 Mph Speed Limit on Commercial Street, Rothwell & Removal of 20mph Speed Limit on Grove Street & Westgate, Leeds City Centre
NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that Leeds City Council, acting as the Local Traffic Authority and in exercise of its powers under Sections 81, 84, 85, 87, 89, 124 and Part IV of Schedule 9 of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 (‘the Act’), the Traffic Management Act 2004 and all other enabling powers, proposes to make the above Order, the effect of which will be to: 1.Introduce a 20MPH Speed Limit on Commercial Street, Rothwell between its junctions with Church Street and Marsh Street. 2. Revoke sections of 20MPH Speed Limit on Grove Street, west of its junction with Cropper Gate; and Westgate; adjacent to A58 Inner Ring Road (west of Lisbon Street and north of Wellington Street). NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that Leeds City Council, acting as the Local Traffic Authority (in exercise of its powers under Sections 1, 2, 3, 4, 5, 32, 35 & 124 and Part IV of Schedule 9 of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, the Traffic Management Act 2004 and all other enabling powers) proposes to make the above Order, the effect of which will be to introduce the following restrictions: 1. No Waiting at any Time on sections of a. Brookfield Ave & Gdns, Carr Rd (A657); Carr Hill Ave & Rise Towngate and Victoria St; Calverley b.
