NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the Assistant Director Infrastructure and Regulatory Services of the Wigan Borough Council in exercise of the powers conferred by Section 14 of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 and delegated to her by the said Council proposes to make the Wigan Borough (Parsonage Way, Leigh) (Temporary Closure) Order 2026.
The effect of the Order will be to prohibit any person from driving a vehicle or causing or permitting a vehicle to be driven on Parsonage Way, Leigh on 24th June 2026.
The alternative route for traffic is: Atherleigh Way – Leighbrook Way.
The Order is necessary to allow frame and cover.
Pennington Road, Leigh – Temporary Closure

NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the Assistant Director Infrastructure and Regulatory Services of the Wigan Borough Council in exercise of the powers conferred by Section 14 of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 and delegated to her by the said Council proposes to make the Wigan Borough (Pennington Road, Leigh) (Temporary Closure) Order 2026.
The effect of the Order will be to prohibit any person from driving a vehicle or causing or permitting a vehicle to be driven on Pennington Road, Leigh from 24th June 2026 until 3rd July 2026.
The alternative route for traffic is Newlands Road – Bonnywell Road.
The Order is necessary to allow new electric connection.
