What is happening?

THE CITY OF CAMBRIDGE
(PUBLIC OFF-STREET PARKING PLACES) (AMENDMENT NO. 6) ORDER 2026

Notice is hereby given that Cambridge City Council (“the Council”) in exercise of its powers under the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 (“the 1984 Act”) (as amended) and of all other enabling powers, with the consent of the Cambridgeshire County Council in accordance with Section 39(3) of the 1984 Act and the Traffic Management Act 2004 (as amended) has made the above-named Order which comes into effect on 8th June 2026.

The effect of this Order is to amend the City of Cambridge (Public Off-Street Parking Places) (Consolidated) Order 2023 as follows:

1. In the Consolidated Order 2023, the parking place at Clay Farm Community Centre shall be removed from Schedule 2 Table 4 and inserted into Schedule 2 Table 3 as a permit holder designated off-street parking place reflecting Schedule 6 of this Amendment Order

If any person wishes to question the validity of the order or of any of its provisions on the grounds that it or they are not within the powers conferred by the Act, or that any requirement of the Act or of any instrument made under the Act has not been complied with, that person may, within 6 weeks from 8th June 2026 apply for the purpose to the High Court.
