(BLACKIE ROAD) (TEMPORARY ROAD RESTRICTION AND TRAFFIC REGULATION) ORDER 2026 – TEMP/26/47
The Council has made an Order under the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, as amended, the effect of which will be that for a temporary period, to facilitate carriageway resurfacing, footway and drainage works, no person shall: (a) drive or cause or permit any vehicle to be driven on any part of: (i) Blackie Rd from the extended east kerbline of Summerfield Gdns, eastwards to the extended west kerbline of Claremont Rd; and (ii) Clarebank Cres from the extended south kerbline of Blackie Rd, southwards for 50m; and (b) except with the permission of a Parking Attendant, cause or permit any vehicle to wait or load onto or unload from any vehicle at any time on any part of: (i) Blackie Rd from the extended east kerbline of Summerfield Gdns, eastwards to the extended west kerbline of Claremont Rd; (ii) Clarebank Cres from the extended south kerbline of Blackie Rd, southwards for 50m; and (iii) Claremont Rd from the extended south kerbline of Claremont Gdns, southwards to the extended north kerbline of Prospect Bank Cres. The alternative routes for through vehicular traffic in relation to the closures of: (i) Blackie Rd – Blackie Rd, Restalrig Rd, Gladstone Pl, Claremont Pk and Claremont Rd; and (ii) Clarebank Cres – Clarebank Cres, Claremont Rd, Claremont Pk, Gladstone Pl, Restalrig Rd and Blackie Rd. The Order shall have effect from 01/06/26 to 31/07/26.
