CHURCH ROAD, STEVINGTON 26 – 035

NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that Bedford Borough Council intend not less than seven days from the date of this Notice to make an Order the effect of which will be to prohibit any vehicle, except a vehicle being used for fire, police or ambulance purposes in an emergency, from proceeding along Church Road, Stevington opp 16.

This temporary road closure is required to replace one decayed telegraph pole and rehang associated cabling and shall apply to such extent as may from time to time be indicated by the appropriate traffic signs.

This temporary road closure is anticipated to be in operation 08:00 to 18:00 hours from 23rd June 2026 to 24th June 2026

The proposed Order will come into operation on 23rd June 2026, for a period of 12 months or until the proposed works have been completed, as detailed above, whichever is the earlier. This temporary road closure is required to replace stop tap and shall apply to such extent as may from time to time be indicated by the appropriate traffic signs.

NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that Bedford Borough Council intend not less than seven days from the date of this Notice to make an Order the effect of which will be to prohibit any vehicle, except a vehicle being used for fire, police or ambulance purposes in an emergency, from proceeding along Berkeley Road, Bedford.

This temporary road closure is required to carriageway resurfacing works and Civils and shall apply to such extent as may from time to time be indicated by the appropriate traffic signs.

This temporary road closure is anticipated to be in operation 08:00 to 18:00 hours from 26th June 2026 to 7th July 2026

The signed alternative route for vehicles affected by the order is available via Mile Road, Mile Road Service Road For Properties 1 To 147, Stapleton Road, Mowbray Road, Gostwick Road.

The reverse route applies.

This temporary road closure is required to replace one decayed telegraph pole and rehang associated cabling and shall apply to such extent as may from time to time be indicated by the appropriate traffic signs.

This temporary road closure is anticipated to be in operation 09:30 to 15:30 hours 28th June 2026

The signed alternative route for vehicles affected by the order is available via Prebend Street, Cauldwell Street, Kingsway, St Marys Street, High Street, St Pauls Square, Horne Lane, River Street, Greyfriars, Bromham Road, Ashburnham Road, Midland Road. The proposed Order will come into operation on 28th June 2026, for a period of 12 months or until the proposed works have been completed, as detailed above, whichever is the earlier. GOLD LANE, BIDDENHAM 26 – 017

NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that Bedford Borough Council intend not less than seven days from the date of this Notice to make an Order the effect of which will be to prohibit any vehicle, except a vehicle being used for fire, police or ambulance purposes in an emergency, from proceeding along Gold Lane, Biddenham, from Church End/Main Road to junction Duck End Lane.

This temporary road closure is required to replace approx. 200m of 6” si with 125mm and any associated services and shall apply to such extent as may from time to time be indicated by the appropriate traffic signs.

This temporary road closure is anticipated to be in operation 24 hours from 22nd June to 10th July 2026

The signed alternative route for vehicles affected by the order is available via Deep Spinney, Bromham Road.

The reverse route applies.
