NOTICE is given that Cambridgeshire County Council has made an Order pursuant to the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, as amended by the Road Traffic (Temporary Restrictions) Act 1991, the effect of which:

The Fillance, Bassingbourn Cum Kneesworth

Temporary Prohibition Of Through Traffic – Order 2026-20306

Is to stop any vehicle from proceeding along The Fillance, Bassingbourn Cum Kneesworth as lies between Nos.9 & 47. The alternative route for vehicles is via Mill Ln; North End & vice versa. The proposed Order is necessary to facilitate telecommunications pole replacement & associated works which are being carried out on or near this highway & it will come into operation on 10/6/26 & continue until these works have finished or the 9/12/27 whichever is the earlier. It is anticipated that these works will be carried out between 10/6 & 11/6/26.

North End, Bassingbourn Cum Kneesworth

Temporary Prohibition Of Through Traffic – Order 2026-20386

Is to stop any vehicle from proceeding along North End, Bassingbourn Cum Kneesworth as lies between Nos. 88 & 100. The alternative route for vehicles is via North End; Brook Rd; Bassingbourn Rd, Litlington; Meeting Ln; St Peters Hill; Silver St; Church St; Abington Rd; Litlington Rd, Abington Pigotts; High St; The Shingay Rd; Fen Rd, Bassingbourn Cum Kneesworth & vice versa. The proposed Order is necessary to facilitate telecommunications pole replacement & associated works which are being carried out on or near this highway & it will come into operation on 9/6/26 & continue until these works have finished or on the 8/12/27 whichever is the earlier. It is anticipated that these works will be carried out between 9/6 & 10/6/26.

Chishill Road, Heydon

Temporary Prohibition Of Through Traffic – Order 2026-20397

Is to stop any vehicle from proceeding along Chishill Road, Heydon as lies between Heydon End Farm & Meadow House. The alternative route for vehicles is via Chishill Rd; Heydon Rd, Great Chishill; B1039; B1368; A505; Heydon Rd, Fowlmere; Fowlmere Rd, Heydon & vice versa. The proposed Order is necessary to facilitate water disconnection & associated works which are being carried out on or near this highway & it will come into operation on 10/6/26 & continue until these works have finished or on the 9/12/27 whichever is the earlier. It is anticipated that these works will be carried out between 10/6 & 12/6/26.

Station Road, Shepreth

Temporary Prohibition Of Through Traffic – Order 2026-20458

Is to stop any vehicle from proceeding along Station Road, Shepreth as lies between Level Crossing and Meldreth Road. The alternative route for vehicles is via Barrington Rd; Shepreth Rd, Barrington; West Grn; High St; Haslingfield Rd; Chapel Hill; Chapel Hill, Haslingfield, Church St; High St; Harston Rd; Haslingfield Rd; Church St, Harston; Church St; A10; Station Rd, Meldreth; Whitecroft Rd; Fenny Ln; North End; Meldreth Rd and vice versa.

The proposed Order is necessary to facilitate installation of kerbs, drainage and associated works which are being carried out on or near this highway and it will come into operation on 1/6/26 and continue until these works have finished or on the 30/11/27 whichever is the earlier. It is anticipated that these works will be carried out between 1/6 and 31/8/26.

Access will be maintained to properties affected by these orders. The above orders shall not apply to any persons lawfully engaged in connection with any works for which these are made, any member of the Police Force, Fire & Rescue Service, Ambulance Service, a vehicle being used by Special Forces during the execution of their duties or to any person acting with the permission or upon the direction of a Police Officer in uniform.
