GLOUCESTERSHIRE COUNTY COUNCIL

TEMPORARY CLOSURE OF 400655 ICOMB HILL MAIN ROAD THROUGH ICOMB (ICOMB PARISH) COTSWOLD DISTRICT

Gloucestershire County Council has made an order under the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 (as amended) to temporarily close part of the 400655 Icomb Hill Main Road through Icomb, from outside the property known as ‘The Old School House’ to its junction with Road from Disused Quarry to Wyckhill Plantation for a distance of approximately 344 metres.

The reason for the closures is for drainage works.

The said road is expected to be closed between 08:30hrs and 15:30hrs each day from 1st June 2026 until 5th June 2026 only or until the works are complete. For further information, please contact Gloucestershire Highways on 08000 514 514 or visit www.gloucestershire.gov.uk

Alternative Route: As signed on site. Emergency access will be maintained. Pedestrian access will not be maintained due to safety reasons.

Gloucestershire County Council, as traffic authority, has made an Order under the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 (as amended) to temporarily close part of the lengths of road as detailed in the Schedule below.

The reason for the said closures is for a water pipe replacement scheme.

All of the above roads will be subject to full 24hr closures.

The said roads are expected to be closed, during various times, on a rolling programme, commencing 1st June 2026 where the presence of approved signage will indicate whether the closures are in force. Further advance warnings of dates/times will be displayed on site prior to the closures taking effect. The Order may permit the closure of the said roads, in any order, or simultaneously as required. It is anticipated all works will be completed by 4th January 2027.

TEMPORARY CLOSURE OF 500546 ROAD FROM SALPERTON MAIN ROAD (NOTGROVE PARISH) COTSWOLD DISTRICT

Gloucestershire County Council has made an order under the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 (as amended) to temporarily close part of the 500546 Road from Salperton Main Road, from its junction with Salperton Road Main Road through Salperton to its junction with Stanborough Lane for a distance of approximately 1,991 metres.

The reason for the closures is for repair works to a disused railway bridge.

The said road is expected to be closed from 1st June 2026 until 4th September 2026 only or until the works are complete. For further information, please contact Gloucestershire Highways on 08000 514 514 or visit www.gloucestershire.gov.uk 

Alternative Route: As signed on site. Pedestrian access and Emergency access will not be maintained due to safety reasons as there will be no carriageway.

TEMPORARY CLOSURE C116 ROAD FROM MULBERRY HOUSE TO THE KNAPP (WESTON SUB EDGE PARISH) COTSWOLD DISTRICT

Gloucestershire County Council, as traffic authority, intends to make an Order under the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 (as amended) to temporarily close part of the C116 Road from Mulberry House to The Knapp, from its junction with Friday Street to its junction with Kingcombe Lane for a distance of approximately 1,145 metres.

The reason for the said closure is for signage works.

The said road is expected to be closed between 08:30hrs and 15:30hrs on 12th June 2026 only. For further information, please contact Gloucestershire Highways on 08000 514 514 or visit www.gloucestershire.gov.uk 

Alternative Route – as signed on site. Emergency access will be maintained. Pedestrian access will not be maintained due to safety reasons.

TEMPORARY CLOSURE C118 BROAD MARSTON LANE (MICKLETON PARISH) COTSWOLD DISTRICT

Gloucestershire County Council, as traffic authority, intends to make an Order under the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 (as amended) to temporarily close part of the C118 Broad Marston Lane Road from outside of the property known as ‘Abbots Ground Farm’ to outside of the property known as ‘Centenary Farm’ for a distance of approximately 89 metres.

The reason for the said closure is for works on behalf of Thames Water.

The said road is expected to be closed on from 16th June 2026 until 18th June 2026 only. However, if the said works are not completed by this date the Order may remain in force for up to eighteen months or until the said works have been completed, whichever is sooner.
