What is happening?

GLOUCESTERSHIRE COUNTY COUNCIL

TEMPORARY ROAD AND FOOTWAY CLOSURE 400970 EAST END

(FAIRFORD TOWN) COTSWOLD DISTRICT

Gloucestershire County Council, as traffic authority, has made an Order under the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 (as amended) to temporarily close part of the 400970 East End and footway from its junction with London Road to its junction with Lygon Court for a distance of approximately 133 metres.

The reason for the said closure is for footway resurfacing works.

The said road and footway are expected to be closed from 29th May 2026 until 5th June 2026 only. However, if the said works are not completed by this date the Order may remain in force for up to eight months or until the said works have been completed, whichever is sooner. TEMPORARY SPEED RESTRICTION A419 CIRENCESTER ROAD

(PRESTON AND SOUTH CERNEY PARISHES) COTSWOLD DISTRICT

Gloucestershire County Council, as traffic authority, has made an Order under the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 (as amended) to temporarily restrict part of the road as described in the Schedule set out below.

Schedule: 40 mph Speed Limit

24 hours a day, for the full duration of the works

TEMPORARY CLOSURE C192 ROAD ADJACENT TO OXSTALLS FARM

(SAPPERTON PARISH) COTSWOLD DISTRICT

Gloucestershire County Council, as traffic authority, has made an Order under the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 (as amended) to temporarily close part of the C192 Road Adjacent to Oxstalls Farm, from its junction with 405940 Road to Gliding Club Aston Down to outside the property known as ‘Oxstalls Farm’ for a distance of approximately 499 metres.

The reason for the said closure is for new water connection works.

TEMPORARY CLOSURE 402969 NORTHLEAZE

(TETBURY TOWN) COTSWOLD DISTRICT

Gloucestershire County Council, as traffic authority, intends to make an Order under the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 (as amended) to temporarily close part of the 402969 Northleaze from outside of the property known as “No.9 Northleaze” to outside of the property known as “No.7 Northleaze” for a distance of approximately 14 metres.

The reason for the said closure is for investigation of a sinkhole.

The said road is expected to be closed on from 08:30hrs on 15th June 2026 until 15:30hrs on 16th June 2026 only. However, if the said works are not completed by this date the Order may remain in force for up to eighteen months or until the said works have been completed, whichever is sooner.

TEMPORARY CLOSURE C180 SIDDINGTON ROAD

(CIRENCESTER TOWN) COTSWOLD DISTRICT

Gloucestershire County Council, as traffic authority, intends to make an Order under the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 (as amended) to temporarily close part of the C180 Siddington Road from its junction with Bridge Road to its junction with Nursery Road for a distance of approximately 84 metres.

The reason for the said closure is for investigations concerning a “Sinkhole”.

The said road is expected to be closed from 17th June 2026 until 18th June 2026 only.
