(Temporary Closure) Order 2026

NOTICE is hereby given that not less than 7 days from the date of this Notice, WSCC intend to make an Order under the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, the effect of which will be to close:

(i)  Martyrs Avenue (eastbound) between Dobson Road and the A23; and then

(ii) Martyrs Avenue, between Access Road and Latimer Close.

The Order is necessary to protect public safety whilst electrical connection works are undertaken.

The Order will come into effect on 6 June 2026 and will last for 18 months or until the proposed works are completed, whichever is earlier. It is anticipated the 1st closure will start on 6 June 2026 and will be in place for 12 days. The 2nd closure will start on 10 August 2026 and will be in place until 3 September 2026.
