What is happening?

ROAD TRAFFIC REGULATION ACT 1984 - SECTION 14

DEVON COUNTY COUNCIL (FOOTPATHS No.4 & No.5, LANDKEY) TEMPORARY PROHIBITION OF TRAFFIC ORDER 2026

NOTICE is hereby given that Devon County Council intends to make the above titled order. From: Thursday, 4th June 2026 To: Thursday, 3rd December 2026. No persons shall proceed on the sections of the affected paths except for access to land or premises on or adjacent to those lengths of paths. Public rights of way affected: FOOTPATHS No.4 & No.5, LANDKEY. Footpath No. 4 - from the junction of Footpath 4 and Footpath 5, heading west, parallel to the existing treeline, to just beyond next hedge line. Footpath No. 5 - from the junction of Footpath 4 and Footpath 5, heading north to the outer northern perimeter of the development site.

The alternative route is via a constructed temporary route signed on the ground, along the south, west and northern outer perimeter of the development site. The closure is necessary to enable the construction of a new housing development. Further information may be obtained by contacting Public Rights of Way on 0345 155 1004.
