(TEMPORARY CLOSURE) ORDER 2026
On 26 May 2026 the East Dunbartonshire Council made the above named Order under Section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, which makes it unlawful for any person to drive or cause or permit to be driven any motor vehicle (with the exception of emergency service vehicles, vehicles engaged in the works, and those vehicles requiring access to properties adjacent to the closed section of road when its safe and practical to do so) on that section of the B757 Kirkintilloch Road, Lenzie between its junction with Laurel Avenue, Lenzie and its junction with Myrtle Avenue, Lenzie, by reason of works being executed on or near this road.
This Order will operate from 06.00 hours on Sunday, 07 June 2026 until 23.59 hours on Sunday, 14 June 2026.
Alternative Routes
Alternative routes will be by way of the B757 Kirkintilloch Road, Garngaber Avenue, Woodilee Road, the A806 Initiative Road,
Parliament Road, Townhead, and Lenzie Road, Kirkintilloch; Gallowhill
Road, Boghead Road, the B819 Crosshill Road, the B757 Auchinloch Road, and the B819 Lindsaybeg Road, Lenzie, and these routes will be sign posted. Internal side roads will also be sign posted.

(TEMPORARY PROHIBITION OF RIGHT TURNS) ORDER 2026
On the 26 May 2026 The East Dunbartonshire Council made the above named Order under Section 16(A) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, as amended, to be observed by vehicles from 07:00 hours until 21:00 hours on Saturday, 6 June 2026, for reasons of public safety and convenience.
PROHIBITION OF RIGHT TURNS
1. From the A807 Torrance Road, Torrance into the private access to field at Bogton Farm, Torrance.
Alternative Route
Vehicles travelling on the A807 Torrance Road which cannot turn right into Bogton Field should proceed north-westwards on the A807 Torrance Road then proceed in a clockwise direction around Kelvinbridge roundabout then turn left into the A807 Torrance Road then proceed south-eastwards on the A807 Torrance Road then turn left into the private access to Bogton Field.
2. From the private access field at Bogton Farm, Torrance onto the A807 Torrance Road, Torrance.
Alternative Route
Vehicles leaving the private access to field at Bogton Farm, Torrance, should turn left into the A807 Torrance Road then proceed south-eastwards on the A807 Torrance Road then proceed in a clockwise direction around Torrance roundabout then turn left into the A807 Torrance Road then proceed north-westwards on the A807 Torrance Road.

On 26 May 2026 The East Dunbartonshire Council made the above named Order under Section 16(A) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, to be observed by vehicles from 07:00 hours until 21:00 hours on Saturday, 06 June 2026 for reasons of public safety and convenience.
No Waiting at Any Time Restrictions
The above named Order makes it unlawful for any person to cause or permit any motor vehicle to wait at any time on either side of the A807 Torrance Road, Torrance between its junctions with Torrance Roundabout and Kelvinbridge Roundabout.
30 mph Speed Limit
The above named Order makes it unlawful for any person to cause or permit to be driven any motor vehicle at a speed exceeding 30 mph on the A807 Torrance Road, Torrance between its junctions with Torrance Roundabout and Kelvinbridge Roundabout.
