Notice is hereby given that the Essex County Council intends, not less than seven days from the date of this notice, to make the above Order under section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984.
Effect of the order: To temporarily close that length of Barrack Road, Mashbury in the City of Chelmsford, from a point approximately 20m south west of its junction with Bedfords Hill for a distance of approximately 75m in a south westerly then southerly direction.
The closure is scheduled to commence on 22nd June 2026 for 2 days, or where stated on a valid permit (BC411001WGPFGR7X – Openreach Limited).
The scheduled dates may vary for these works with appropriate signs showing and/or displayed on one.network. The closure is required for the safety of the public and workforce while replacement telegraph pole and associated cabling works are undertaken by Openreach Limited.
An alternative route is available via Bedfords Hill, Bedfords Farm Road, Mill Road, Souther Cross Road, Wares Road, Winchmore Hill, Barrack Road and vice versa.
The Order will come into effect on 4th June 2026 and may continue in force for 18 months or until the works have been completed, whichever is the earlier.

(Temporary Prohibition of Traffic & Temporary Suspension of One Way) Order 2026
Notice is hereby given that the Essex County Council intends, not less than seven days from the date of this notice, to make the above Order under section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984.
Effect of the order:
1. To temporarily close that length of Brook Hill, Little Waltham in the City of Chelmsford, from its junction with The Street for a distance of approximately 40m in a north easterly direction.
2. To temporarily introduce a one way in the above length of Brook Hill, Little Waltham in the City of Chelmsford as cited in “The Borough of Chelmsford (Brook Hill, Little Waltham – Part (One-Way Traffic) Order 1980” for the duration of the closure only.
The closure/suspension is scheduled to commence on 22nd June 2026 for 2 days, or where stated on a valid permit (EC30096746116 – UK Power Networks). The scheduled dates may vary for these works with appropriate signs showing and/or displayed on one.network.

Notice is hereby given that the Essex County Council intends, not less than seven days from the date of this notice, to make the above Order under section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984.
Effect of the order: To temporarily close that length of Hammonds Road, Little Baddow & Sandon in the City of Chelmsford, from a point approximately 65m north west of its junction with Maldon Road for a distance of approximately 3375m in a north westerly then north easterly direction.
The closure is scheduled to commence on 22nd June 2026 for 5 days, or where stated on a valid permit (EP201EH2405550 & EP201EH2402139 – Essex County Council).

Effect of the order: To temporarily close that length of Margaretting Road, Writtle in the City of Chelmsford, from a point approximately 380m north west then north east of its junction with Nathans Lane for a distance of approximately 70m in a north easterly direction.

Effect of the order: To temporarily close that length of North Hill, Little Baddow in the City of Chelmsford, from a point approximately 545m north west then north of its junction with Jarvis Field for a distance of 75m in a north easterly direction.

(Temporary Prohibition of Traffic) Order 2026
Notice is hereby given that the Essex County Council intends, not less than seven days from the date of this notice, to make the above Order under section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984.
Effect of the order:
1. To temporarily close that length of Woodhouse Lane, Little Waltham in the City of Chelmsford, from its junction with North Court Road for a distance of approximately 85m in a north easterly then south easterly direction.
2. To temporarily close that length of North Court Road, Little Waltham in the City of Chelmsford, from its junction with Woodhouse Lane for a distance of approximately 135m in a south easterly then south westerly direction.

Notice is hereby given that the Essex County Council has made the above Order under section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984.
Effect of the order: To temporarily close Parkway & Broomfield Road in the City of Chelmsford (cycle lane only), from a point approximately 115m north east of its junction with Cedar Avenue West for a distance of approximately 110m in a north easterly direction.
The cycle lane closure is scheduled to commence on 8th June 2026 – (21:00 - 05:00) for 2 nights, or where stated on a valid permit (NK103DIS170121 & NK103DIS170121-1 – Virgin Media Limited).

Notice is hereby given that the Essex County Council has made the above Order under section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984.
Effect of the order: To temporarily close that length of Tabors Avenue, Great Baddow in the City of Chelmsford, from its junction with Baddow Road for a distance of approximately 280m in a north easterly direction.
