(THTTC4177 OLD FOSSE ROAD, ODD DOWN, BATH)
(TEMPORARY PROHIBITION OF USE BY VEHICLES) ORDER 2026

NOTICE IS GIVEN that Bath and North East Somerset Council in exercise of its powers under section 14 of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 has made an order the effect of which will be to temporarily introduce a road closure in that length of Old Fosse Road, Odd Down, Bath from its junction with Eastover Grove extending north to a point outside 110 Old Fosse Road. USRN: 47901199.

This order is required because works are being or are proposed to be executed on or near the road to enable Openreach to carry out poling works on the 4th June 2026 for a maximum period of 6 months. 

The road will only be restricted as and when traffic signs are in position and may not be affected for the whole of the period but only for so long as is necessary to execute the works.

Works are anticipated to be for ONE DAY between 08:00 - 17:00hrs.

ALTERNATIVE ROUTE: Old Fosse Road (remainder) – Barrow Road – Vernham Grove – Eastover Grove – vice versa.

(TEMPORARY PROHIBITION OF USE BY VEHICLES) ORDER 2026

NOTICE IS GIVEN that Bath and North East Somerset Council in exercise of its powers under section 14 of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 has made an order the effect of which will be to temporarily introduce a road closure in that length of Hang Hill, Shoscombe, Bath from its junction with Gullen extending south east to its junction with Grays Hill. This order is required because works are being or are proposed to be executed on or near the road to enable Bath & North East Somerset Council to carry out drainage improvement works to remove highway flooding from the 1st June 2026 for a maximum period of 12 months. 

The road will only be restricted as and when traffic signs are in position and may not be effected for the whole of the period but only for so long as is necessary to execute the works. Works are anticipated to be for THREE WEEKS.

NOTICE IS GIVEN that Bath and North East Somerset Council in exercise of its powers under section 14 of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 intends to make an order the effect of which will be to temporarily introduce a road closure in that length of:

• Monksdale Road, Moorlands, Bath from a point outside 41 Monksdale Road extending south west to a point outside 43 Monksdale Road. USRN: 47901070.

• Hillside Road, Moorlands, Bath from a point outside 80 Hillside Road extending north west to its junction with Monksdale Road. USRN: 47900709.

This order is required because works are being or are proposed to be executed on or near the road to enable Openreach to lay new duct from the 15th June 2026 for a maximum period of 6 months.

The road will only be restricted as and when traffic signs are in position and may not be affected for the whole of the period but only for so long as is necessary to execute the works. 

Works are anticipated to be for THREE DAYS between 09:30 - 17:00hrs.

NOTICE IS GIVEN that Bath and North East Somerset Council in exercise of its powers under section 14 of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 has made an order the effect of which will be to temporarily introduce a road closure and suspend all parking to vehicles in that length of Lansdown Road, Lansdown, Bath starting from a point approximately 35 metres south of Caroline Place extending north to a point approximately 55 metres north of Morford Street. The closure will also include a few metres into Morford Street.

This order is required because works are being or are proposed to be executed on or near the road for Installation of new zebra crossing by Bath and North East Somerset Council from the 5th June 2026 for a maximum period of 18 months. 

The road will only be restricted as and when traffic signs are in position and may not be affected for the whole of the period but only for so long as is necessary to execute the works. Works are anticipated to be for ONE NIGHT between 19:00 - 07:00hrs.

This order is required because works are being or are proposed to be executed on or near the footpath to enable National Grid to carry out electrical installation works from the 16th June 2026 for a maximum period of 6 months.
