Mill Lane - Temporary Road Closure Due To Railway Works

ROAD TRAFFIC REGULATION ACT 1984 - SECTION 14 CITY OF BRADFORD METROPOLITAN DISTRICT COUNCIL MILL LANE, BRADFORD TEMPORARY PROHIBITION OF TRAFFIC ORDER
NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that City of Bradford Metropolitan District Council by reason of railway works to be executed on or near Mill Lane, Bradford has made the above-named Order the effect of which is that no person shall proceed in the length of Mill Lane from its junction with Nelson Street to its junction with Fitzwilliam Street.
PROVIDED THAT such prohibition shall not extend to vehicles being used in connection with the works to be carried out on the said length of road. Pedestrian access will be maintained at all times. Alternative routes for vehicular traffic affected by the Order are available via Mill Lane (unaffected section), Nelson Street, Caledonia Street, Fitzwilliam Street and vice versa.
The Order comes into operation at 20:00 hours on the 1st June 2026 and remains in force until 05:00 hours on the 4th June 2026 (although the closure can remain in force for up to eighteen months if necessary).
