HALIFAX ROAD, BRADFORD
TEMPORARY PROHIBITION OF TRAFFIC ORDER
NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that City of Bradford Metropolitan District Council by reason of telecommunication works to be executed on or near Halifax Road, Bradford has made the above-named Order the effect of which is that no person shall proceed in the length of Halifax Road from its junction with Odsal roundabout to its junction with Hatton Close (one side closure only).
PROVIDED THAT such prohibition shall not extend to vehicles being used in connection with the works to be carried out on the said length of road.
Pedestrian access will be maintained at all times.
Alternative routes for vehicular traffic affected by the Order are available via Odsal Road, Holroyd Hill, High Street, Smith Avenue, Halifax Road (unaffected section) and vice versa.
The Order comes into operation at 08:00 hours on the 31st May 2026 and remains in force until 18:00 hours on the 31st May 2026 (although the closure can remain in force for up to eighteen months if necessary).
