(Temporary Prohibition of Waiting) Order 2026
NOTICE is hereby given that not less than 7 days from the date of this notice, WSCC intends to make an Order under the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, the effect of which will be to temporarily prohibit waiting at any time on both sides of the following lengths of roads in Ardingly:
B2028 Selsfield Road/Lindfield Road: from the entrance to Wakehurst Place, to a point 185M south of its junction with
College Road;
College Road: from its junction with Lindfield Road to is junction with Lodgelands Street Lane: from its junction with Selsfield Road, westwards to its junction with Balcombe Lane.
The Order also temporarily prohibits waiting at any time on the eastern side of the B2028 in Lindfield, from its junction with Alma Road southwards to its junction with Backwoods Lane. These restrictions are needed to maintain the safe flow of traffic while the South of England Show is taking place.
The Order will come into effect on 4 June 2026 and remain in force until 8 June 2026.

(East Grinstead: Turners Hill Road)
(Temporary Closure) Order 2026
NOTICE is hereby given that WSCC has made an Order under the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, the effect of which will be to temporarily close Turners Hill Road in East Grinstead from Vowels Lane westwards to a point 1KM east of Siskin Avenue. The road closure is needed to allow repairs to a highway embankment to take place in safety.
The Order will come into effect on 1 June 2026 and remain in force until 3 July 2026. Once made, the Order may remain in force for up to 18 months, or until the proposed works are completed, whichever is earlier.
During the operative periods of this Order alternative routes for vehicles will be indicated on site. Access to properties on the affected length of road will be maintained at all times.
