Back Raymond Street - Temporary Road Closure Due To Gas Works

ROAD TRAFFIC REGULATION ACT 1984 - SECTION 14

CITY OF BRADFORD METROPOLITAN DISTRICT COUNCIL

BACK RAYMOND STREET, BRADFORD

TEMPORARY PROHIBITION OF TRAFFIC ORDER

NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that City of Bradford Metropolitan District Council by reason of gas works to be executed on or near Back Raymond Street, Bradford has made the above-named Order the effect of which is that no person shall proceed in the length of Back Raymond Street from a point outside the rear of No. 57 Back Raymond Street to its junction with Parkside Road.

PROVIDED THAT such prohibition shall not extend to vehicles being used in connection with the works to be carried out on the said length of road.

Pedestrian access will be maintained at all times.

Alternative routes for vehicular traffic affected by the Order are available via Back Raymond Street (unaffected section), Silverdale Road, Parkside Road and vice versa.

The Order comes into operation at 08:00 hours on the 1st of June 2026 and remains in force until 23:55 hours on the 26th of June 2026 (although the closure can remain in force for up to eighteen months if necessary).
