Temporary Closure of Galmington Close
Somerset Council in exercise of its powers under Section 14 (1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 as amended, propose to make an Order prohibiting all traffic from proceeding along: Galmington Close - from the junction with Galmington Road, for its entirety. A total distance of 128 metres. This Order will enable Wales & West Utilities to carry out gas mains replacement works.
The Order becomes effective on 11th June 2026 and will remain in force for 18 months. The works are expected to commence on 15th June 2026 and last until 24th July 2026 between the hours of 00:00 - 23:59 for a total of 40 days. There is no alternative route for this closure.
