(Storrington & Sullington: Downsview Avenue)
(Temporary Closure) Order 2026

NOTICE is hereby given that not less than 7 days from the date of this Notice WSCC intends to make an Order under the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, the effect of which will be to close the section of Downsview Avenue between Windmill Copse and Kingsland Close.

The Order is necessary to protect public safety whilst gas mains replacement works are undertaken.

The Order will come into effect on 15 June 2026 and will last for 18 months or until the proposed works are completed, whichever is earlier. It is anticipated the works will commence on or after 15 June 2026 and will be completed by 24 July 2026.

West Grinstead – Partridge Green: Mill Lane &
Littleworth Lane) (Temporary Closure) Order 2026

NOTICE is hereby given that WSCC made an Order under the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, the effect of which will be to prohibit any vehicle from proceeding along:-

(i) Mill Lane, between Littleworth Lane and Bayley Paddock; and then

(ii) Littleworth Lane, between Mill Lane and High StreetThe Order is necessary to protect public safety whilst water mains replacement works are undertaken.

The Order will come into effect on 1 June 2026 and will last for 18 months or until the proposed works are completed, whichever is earlier. It is anticipated works will commence in Mill Lane on 1 June 2026 and will take until 28 June 2026 to complete. Works will then commence in Littleworth Lane and are expected to be completed by 6 December 2026.

(Rudgwick: Public Bridleway No. 1352)
(Temporary Closure) Order 2026

NOTICE is hereby given that WSCC made an Order under the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, the effect of which will be to prohibit any person from proceeding along a length of Public Bridleway No. 1352, from The Haven (507573.217, 130118.971) to Okehurst Road (507631.739, 129565.184), a distance of 550M.

The Order is necessary to protect public safety due to a broken bridge.

Unfortunately there are no alternative routes available using the Public Rights of Way network.

The Order will come into effect on 31 May 2026 and will last for 6 months.
