ORDER 2026
NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that to enable utility works to be carried out (“the Works”), Westmorland and Furness Council intends to make an Order the effect of which is to prohibit any vehicle from proceeding along the following sections of road: -
(i) C5018 near Coniston, from its junction with the B5285, extending in a south easterly direction for approx. 715m. Alternative Route: via the B5285, A593, A5084 and the unrestricted section of the C5018. Duration: From 15th June 2026 for approx. 5 days (Ref: TTROW/18780)
(ii) U5055 Satterthwaite, from its junction with the C5022, extending in a south easterly direction for its entire length. There is no suitable diversion route available for vehicles. Duration: From 22nd June 2026 for approx. 5 days (Ref: TTROW/18768)

The Order will come into operation on 15th June 2026 and may continue in force for a maximum duration of eighteen months. However, please note that it is anticipated that the restrictions will only be required as detailed above, and only as and when the appropriate traffic signs are displayed.
