Temporary Closure of Waterloo Road and Station Road

Somerset Council in exercise of its powers under Section 14 (1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 as amended, propose to make an Order prohibiting all traffic from proceeding along: Waterloo Road - from the junction with Seymour Street to the junction with Corams Lane and Station Road - from the junction with Corams Lane to the junction with Owen Street. A total distance of 168 metres. This Order will enable National Grid to carry out cabling works.

The Order becomes effective on 11th June 2026 and will remain in force for 18 months. The works are expected to commence on 15th June 2026 and last until 24th July 2026 between the hours of 00:00 - 23:59 for a total of 40 days.
