What is happening?

(BROCK LANE & QUEENS LANE (PART), 
MAIDENHEAD) (TEMPORARY PROHIBITION 
OF DRIVING) ORDER 2026
The Royal Borough of Windsor & Maidenhead intends, not less than seven days from the date of this Notice,to make an Order, the effect of which will be to:
Prohibit any vehicle from proceeding along that part of Brock Lane for its entire length and that part ofQueens Lane from its junction with Brock Lane southward for a distance of 10 metres.

There is no alternative route available. 

The purpose of the proposed Order is to facilitate works on the highway, namely power diversion works, and as a result there is the likelihood of danger to the public.

The proposed Order shall be in operation each day between 09:00 hours and 17:00 hours from Monday 15 June until Sunday 28 June 2026. Vehicles will be prohibited when signs as prescribed by the Traffic Sign Regulations and General Directions 2016 are in place to indicate the said restrictions.
