Temporary Closure of Staple Lane and Staple Close

Somerset Council in exercise of its powers under Section 14 (1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 as amended, propose to make an Order prohibiting all traffic from proceeding along: Staple Lane - from the junction with Williton To Bridgwater Road, south-eastwards for a distance of 322 metres and Staple Close - from the junction with Staple Lane to outside the property named Stag View, Staple Close. A total distance of 418 metres. This Order will enable KNTC Limited to lay new duct on behalf of Openreach.

The Order becomes effective on 11th June 2026 and will remain in force for eighteen months. The works are expected to commence on 15th June 2026 and last until 19th June 2026 between the hours of 08:00 - 18:00 for a total of 5 days.
