(TEMPORARY PROHIBITION OF VEHICLES ORDER)
(TEMPORARY PROHIBITION OF WAITING AT ANY TIME ORDER) ORDER 2026
NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the Rochdale Borough Council made an Order, the effect of which is to;
(i) Temporarily prohibit vehicles from proceeding along Heap Brow from its junction with Bury New Road in a Southerly direction for a distance of 30 metres
(ii) Temporary prohibit vehicles from waiting at anytime along Heap Brow from its junction with Heap Brow, Heywood direction for a distance of 30 metres.
The Order is required to facilitate Manhole frame and cover replacement within the carriageway.
The Order will be operative from 08:30 until 12:00 on the 30th May 2026.
The alternative route for vehicles will be via Bury New Road, Bury Old Road, Heap Brow & vice versa.
(UNNAMED FOOTPATH WILLOW AVENUE TO SANDY LANE, MIDDLETON)
(TEMPORARY PROHIBITION OF PEDESTRIANS AND CYCLISTS) ORDER 2026
NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the Rochdale Borough Council made an Order, the effect of which is to temporarily prohibit pedestrians and cyclists from proceeding along Un Named Footpath Willow Avenue to Sandy Lane from its junction with Sandy Lane to its junction with Willow Avenue.
The Order is required to facilitate electrical works within the footpath.
The Order will be operative from 08:00 hours on 1st June 2026 until 18:00 hours on 12th June 2026.
The alternative route for pedestrians and cyclists is via Sandy Lane, Cypress Street, Un Named Footpath Willow Avenue To Sandy Lane, Willow Avenue and vice versa.
(BOARDMAN LANE, MIDDLETON)
(TEMPORARY PROHIBITION OF VEHICLES) ORDER 2026
NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the Rochdale Borough Council intend, in not less than seven days, to make an Order, the effect of which will be to temporarily prohibit vehicles from proceeding along Boardman Lane from its junction with Rhodes Green for a distance of 55 metres in a south easterly direction.
The Order is required to facilitate the safe repair of a Telecom pole. The Order will be operative from 08.00 hours until 17.00 hours each day from the 23rd June 2026 until 24th June 2026.
The alternative route for vehicles will be via Ellis Lane, Heywood Old Road (A6045), Manchester Old Road (A576), Boardman Lane and vice versa.
