NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that Northumberland County Council intends to make an Order to prohibit the use by vehicular traffic on that section of the U7062 Greengate Lane from its junction with Melkridge Tynedale District Bridleway 017 heading in a northwards direction for a distance of 25 metres in the County of Northumberland.

The Order is to be effective from the 22nd June 2026 until the 26th June 2026.

It is expected that the road will only be closed from the 22nd June 2026 until the 26th June 2026 between the hours of 20:00 & 05:00 during this period; however, the order will remain in place until 26th June 2026.

There is no alternative route for vehicular traffic.

NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that Northumberland County Council intends to make an Order to prohibit the use by vehicular traffic on that section of the U8177 Anick Junction to U8177 Junction Acomb Wall from its junction with U8176 heading in an easterly direction for a length of 955 metres in the County of Northumberland.

The Order is to be effective from the 15th June 2026 until the 10th July 2026.

It is expected that the road will only be closed from the 15th June 2026 until the 26th June 2026 and that it will be closed at all times during this period; however, the order will remain in place until 10th July 2026.

An alternative route will be available for use whilst the TTRO is in force being C239, U8176 and vice versa and should the need arise changes may be made to the alternative routes, where possible these changes will be signposted accordingly.

NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that Northumberland County Council intends to make an Order to prohibit the use by vehicular traffic on the following sections of roads in the County of Northumberland:

• B6321 Dilston to Corbridge from its junction with A695 Hexham to Dilston in a north-easterly direction for a length of 1050 metres.
• C243 Dilston to Dilston Haughs from its junction with B6321 Dilston to Corbridge in a south-westerly direction for a length of 255 metres.

The Order is to be effective from the 22nd June 2026 until the 22nd June 2027.

It is expected that the roads will only be closed from the 22nd June 2026 until the 22nd December 2026. The roads will be closed at all times during this period; however, the order will remain in place until 22nd June 2027.

The working times during these road closures are expected to be between the hours of 08:00 and 17:00 on Mondays to Fridays and between 08:00 and 13:00 on Saturdays.

An alternative route will be available for use whilst the TTRO is in force being B6529, A695, and vice versa and should the need arise changes may be made to the alternative routes, where possible these changes will be signposted accordingly.

NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that Northumberland County Council intends to make an Order to prohibit the use by vehicular traffic on the following sections of roads in the County of Northumberland:

• A6079 Station Road Hexham from its junction with C283 Dean Street in a northerly direction for a length of 150 metres.
• B6305 Priestpopple from its junction with C283 Dean Street in a south-westerly direction for a length of 165 metres.
• A695 Corbridge Road from its junction with B6305 Priestpopple in an easterly direction for a length of 2100 metres.

The Order is to be effective from the 22nd June 2026 until the 22nd June 2027. It is expected that the road will only be closed from the 22nd June 2026 until the 22nd December 2026 between the hours of 19:00 and 07:00 on Mondays to Thursdays during this period; however, the order will remain in place until 22nd June 2027.

Alternative routes will be available for use whilst the TTRO is in force as follows:
For Hexham or Corbridge throughout: A6079, A69, B6529, B6321, A695, and vice-versa. For Hexham or Corbridge during A695 Corbridge Road closure outside Hexham General Hospital: Dean Street, Priestpopple and vice-versa.
For HGVs: A68, A69, A695 and vice-versa.

Should the need arise changes may be made to the alternative routes, where possible these changes will be signposted accordingly.

NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that Northumberland County Council intends to make an Order to prohibit the use by vehicular traffic on that section of the B6309 Welton to Whittle Dene Reservoir Welton from its point outside Whittle Dene Reservoir House for a distance of 210 metres in a southerly direction in the County of Northumberland.

The Order is to be effective from the 22nd June 2026 until the 30th October 2026.

It is expected that the road will only be closed from the 22nd June 2026 until the 11th September 2026 at all times during this period; however, the order will remain in place until the 30th October 2026.

An alternative route will be available for use whilst the TTRO is in force being B6309, B6318, C256, A69, B6309 and vice versa and should the need arise changes may be made to the alternative routes, where possible these changes will be signposted accordingly.

NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that Northumberland County Council have made an Order to prohibit the use by vehicular traffic on that section of the B6306 Gallows Bank Hexham from its point with the front of South Park House heading in a south eastwards direction for a distance of 80 metres in the County of Northumberland.

The Order is to be effective from the 7th June 2026 until the 14th June 2026.

It is expected that the road will only be closed on the 7th June 2026 between the hours of 08:00 and 16:00 during this period; however, the order will remain in place until 14th June 2026.

An alternative route for HGVs will be available for use whilst the TTRO is in force being via B6306, C282, C278, C280 and vice-versa.

An alternative route for all other vehicles will be available for use whilst the TTRO is in force being via B6306, C282, C278, U8296 and vice-versa and should the need arise changes may be made to the alternative routes, where possible these changes will be signposted accordingly.

• A695 Farnley Oaks to Riding Mill from its junction with U8094 Shepherds Dene Junction to Grey Court Junction heading in a north westwards direction for a distance of 425 metres.
• A695 Tinklers Bank to Farnley Oaks from its junction with the A695 Farnley Oaks to Riding Mill heading in a north westwards direction for a distance of 720 metres.

The Order is to be effective from the 1st June 2026 until the 28th August 2026.

It is expected that the roads will only be closed from the 1st June 2026 until the 5th June 2026 between the hours of 19:00 and 06:00 during this period; however, the order will remain in place until 28th August 2026.

An alternative route will be available for use whilst the TTRO is in force being via A695, B6305, A6079, A69 and vice-versa and should the need arise changes may be made to the alternative routes, where possible these changes will be signposted accordingly.

The Order is to be effective from the 4th June 2026 until the 4th December 2026.

(TEMPORARY PUBLIC FOOTPATH CLOSURE) ORDER 2026

NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that Northumberland County Council has made an Order to prohibit the use of Parish of Falstone Public Footpath No 23, in the County of Northumberland.

The route is described as follows:

From a point 10 metres north of the Bunkhouse, Leaplish Waterside Park, in a general south westerly direction for a distance of 170 metres, then in a general northerly direction for a distance of 400 metres, to a point 280 metres north west of the Bunkhouse, Leaplish Waterside Park.

The Order is to be effective from the 1st of June 2026 until the 1st of August 2026.

ROAD TRAFFIC REGULATION ACT 1984 – SECTION 16A

NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that Northumberland County Council (“the Council”), in exercise of its powers as the local traffic authority under section 16A of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 (“the Act”) and all other enabling powers, has on the 15 May 2026 made the Northumberland County Council Midsummer Evening in Corbridge 2026 Temporary Traffic Regulation Order 2026 (“the TTRO”).

The Council has made the TTRO for the purposes of facilitating the holding of Midsummer Evening in Corbridge 2026 (“the Event”) by prohibiting traffic on the B6529 Middle Street in Corbridge from its junction with the B6321 heading in a north westwards direction for a distance of 140 metres (“the Road”).

The TTRO shall come into force at 15:00 hours on 18 June 2026 and will remain in force until 21:00 hours on 18 June 2026, subject to the provisions of section 16B of the Act.

An alternative route will be available for use whilst the TTRO is in force being the U8187 and vice versa. Should the need arise changes may be made to the alternative routes, where possible these changes will be signposted accordingly.

All restrictions on the Road will be sign-posted and staffed and will remain in force only for as long as is necessary.

Nothing in the TTRO shall apply to:

a. Any activities taking place on the Road related to the organisation and holding of the Event;
b. Anything done with the permission of, or at the direction of, a police officer or a Duly Authorised Officer of the Council.
c. Any vehicle being used by, or for the purposes of, the emergency services;
d. Any vehicle being used by or for the purposes of a statutory undertaker (e.g. the loss of supplies of gas, electricity or water to premises in the area, which requires vehicles to be brought onto the Road); or
e. Pedestrian access to any premises adjoining the Road.

(WAITING, LOADING & PARKING PLACES) (MAP BASED) CONSOLIDATION ORDER 2024 VARIATION ORDER 51

NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that Northumberland County Council, in exercise of the powers conferred under sections 1 to 4, 32, 35, 45 and 46, 61 and 64 (as appropriate) and Part IV of schedule 9 of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, the Traffic Management Act 2004 and all other powers so enabling, have made the above-named Order.

The effect of the Order, which will come into force on the 1st June 2026 will be to vary the “Northumberland County Council (Waiting, Loading & Parking Places) (Map Based) Consolidation Order 2024” by introducing the following parking restrictions in Hexham:

• There will be limited waiting parking places applying Monday - Saturday between the hours of 9:00 - 17:00 hours, 3 hours maximum stay, no return within 4 hours, on Corbridge Road.
• There will be no waiting at any time on sections of Corbridge Road.

In addition, the effect of the Order, which will come into force on the 1st June 2026 will be to further vary the “Northumberland County Council (Waiting, Loading & Parking Places) (Map Based) Consolidation Order 2024” by removing sections of no waiting at any time restrictions on Corbridge Road.
