What is happening?

Temporary Closure of Dene Road and

Dene Road South Roundabout

Somerset Council in exercise of its powers under Section 14 (1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 as amended, propose to make an Order prohibiting all traffic from proceeding along: Dene Road - from the junction with Wiveliscombe Road to the junction with Dene Road South Roundabout, and Dene Road South Roundabout - for its entire length.

A total distance of 737 metres. This Order will enable Heidelberg to carry out resurfacing works on behalf of Somerset Highways.

The Order becomes effective on 11th June 2026 and will remain in force for 18 months. The works are expected to commence on 16th June 2026 and last until 2nd July 2026 between the hours of 07:30 - 18:00 for a total of 17 days.
