UCH STREET, ALLITHWAITE AND

U5277, KENDAL) (TEMPORARY

TRAFFIC REGULATION) ORDER 2026

NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that to enable utility works to be carried out (“the Works”), Westmorland and Furness Council has made an Order the effect of which is to prohibit any vehicle from proceeding along the following sections of road: -

Valley Drive, Kendal, from its junction with Littledale, extending in a south easterly direction for approx. 45 metres. Alternative Route: via the unrestricted sections of Valley Drive (U928), Lingmoor Rise and Esthwaite Lane (U738). Duration: From 2nd June 2026 for approx. 1 day (Ref: TTROW/18055)

Burneside Road, Burneside, from its junction with Sprint Home, extending in a south easterly direction for approx. 180 metres. Alternative Route: via the unrestricted sections of Burneside Road (C5058), Windermere Road (A5284), A591 and Hollins Lane (C5057). Duration: from 6th June 2026 for approx. 2 days (Ref: TTROW/18531)

Church Street, Allithwaite, from a point approx. 115 metres north of its junction with the B5277, extending in a northerly direction for approx. 25 metres. Alternative Route: via the unrestricted sections of Church Street, The Square (C5040) and the B5277. Duration: From 29th July 2026 for approx. 1 week (Ref: TTROW/18448)

U5277, Kendal, from a point approx. 195 metres north west of its junction with the A6, extending in a north easterly direction for a distance of approx. 145 metres. Alternative Route: via the unrestricted sections of U5277 and the A6. Duration: From 16th July 2026 for approx. 1 day (Ref: TTROW/18771)

The Order will come into operation on 2nd June 2026 and may continue in force for a maximum duration of eighteen months. However, please note that it is anticipated that the restrictions will only be required as detailed above, and only as and when the appropriate traffic signs are displayed.
