Temporary Closure of Carhampton Road and Eastbury Hill

Somerset Council in exercise of its powers under Section 14 (1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 as amended, have made an Order prohibiting all traffic from proceeding along: Carhampton Road - from the junction with Southlands, southwards incorporating Eastbury Hill for a total distance of 756 metres. This Order will enable Wessex Water to carry out sewer maintenance works.

The Order becomes effective on 28th May 2026 and will remain in force for 18 months. The works are expected to commence on 1st June 2026 and last until 1st June 2026 between the hours of 08:00 - 17:00 for a total of 9 hours.
