(TEMPORARY TRAFFIC REGULATION)

ORDER 2026

NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that to enable utility works to be carried out (“the Works”), Westmorland and Furness Council intends to make an Order the effect of which is to prohibit any vehicle from proceeding along the following sections of road: -

(i) Main Street, Staveley, from its junction with The Banks, extending in a south easterly direction for a distance of approx. 130m. Alternative Route: via Windermere Road, A591, Kendal Road and the unrestricted section of Main Street. Duration: From 15th June 2026 for approx. 1 month (Ref: TTROW/19068)

(ii) Gowan Terrace, Staveley, from its junction with Main Street, extending in a north westerly direction for a distance of approx. 80m. Alternative Route: via The Banks, Station Road and Main Street. Duration: From 13th July 2026 for approx. 1 month (Ref: TTROW/19075)

The Order will come into operation on 15th June 2026 and may continue in force for a maximum duration of eighteen months. However, please note that it is anticipated that the restrictions will only be required as detailed above, and only as and when the appropriate traffic signs are displayed.
