THE BOROUGH OF SLOUGH WAITING RESTRICTIONS AND PARKING PLACES (CONSOLIDATION) ORDER 2017
(AMENDMENT NO. 50) (EXPERIMENTAL) ORDER 2026 (Order 11 of 2026)
Sections 9 and 10 of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 and Regulation 22 of the Local Authorities Traffic Orders
(Procedure) (England and Wales) Regulations 1996 (as amended).
1. SLOUGH BOROUGH COUNCIL gives notice that on 28th May 2026 it made an Order under sections 9 and 10 of the Road Traffic Regulation
Act 1984 and any other enabling powers.
2. The effect of the Order is to amend the Slough Borough Council Waiting Restrictions and Parking Places Order 2017 as set out in the
attached schedules.
3. New parking places for business permit holders only will be introduced on a section of Lakeside Road, operating at all times.

4. A new car club parking place will be introduced on a section of Windsor Road, Service Road, for the use of car club vehicles, operating
at all times.

5. The Order now made comes into force on 8th June 2026.
6. A copy of the Order as made, plans showing the parts of the highway affected and a statement of the traffic authority’s reasons for
making the Order may be inspected on the Council’s website at https://www.slough.gov.uk/consultations-petitions/public-notices-orders/4.
7. The Council will consider in due course whether the provisions of this Experimental Order should be continued in force indefinitely. The
Order provides that in pursuance of Section 10(2) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, the Council, or any person authorised by it
may, if it appears essential in the interests of the expeditious, convenient and safe movement of traffic or for preserving or improving
the amenities of the area through which any road affected by the Order runs, modify or suspend the Order or any provision thereof.
8. Anyone wishing to make representations or object to the making of a Permanent Order may do so within six months of the date on which
this Order comes into force. Any such representation or objection must be made in writing, stating the grounds on which it is made, and
sent to the address below or by email to parking.consultations@slough.gov.uk.
9. Any person wishing to question the validity of this Order, or of any provision contained in it, on the grounds that it is not within the
powers conferred by the Act or that any requirement of the Act or of any regulations made under it has not been complied with may,
within six weeks from the date on which the Order was made, apply to the High Court for this purpose.
