(THTTC4169 CUCKOO LANE, CLUTTON)
(TEMPORARY PROHIBITION OF USE BY VEHICLES) ORDER 2026

NOTICE IS GIVEN that Bath and North East Somerset Council in exercise of its powers under section 14 of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 has made an order the effect of which will be to temporarily introduce a road closure in that length of Cuckoo Lane, Clutton from its junction with Ferney Leaze Lane extending north west for approximately 45 metres. USRN: 47916501.

This order is required because works are being or are proposed to be executed on or near the road to enable Contractors to carry out repairs to a property from the 1st June 2026 for a maximum period of 6 months. 

The road will only be restricted as and when traffic signs are in position and may not be affected for the whole of the period but only for so long as is necessary to execute the works. Works are anticipated to be for TWO DAYS between 09:00-16:00hrs.

ALTERNATIVE ROUTE: Cuckoo Lane (remainder) – Clutton Hill – Flatts Lane – Cross Ways – A39 – Scumbrum Lane – vice versa.

(THTTC4172 MAGGS LANE, WHITCHURCH)
(TEMPORARY SUSPENSION OF THE ONE-WAY RESTRICTION) 
(TEMPORARY PROHIBITION OF USE BY VEHICLES) ORDER 2026

NOTICE IS GIVEN that Bath and North East Somerset Council in exercise of its powers under section 14 of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 intends to make an order the effect of which will be to temporarily introduce:

• A road closure in that length of Maggs Lane, Whitchurch from its junction with the A37 Bristol Road extending west to its junction with St Nicholas Road. USRN: 47904495.

• A temporary suspension of the one-way restriction allowing traffic to travel in both directions, from the Bristol end of Maggs Lane, Whitchurch at its junction with Washing Pound Lane. Two Operatives with a radio contact system will be in situ during the works and will use stop and go boards to assist traffic. The site will be returned to normal access when not working. 

This order is required because works are being or are proposed to be executed on or near the road to enable Openreach to repair a frame/cover from the 13th June 2026 for a maximum period of 6 months. 

The road will only be restricted as and when traffic signs are in position and may not be effected for the whole of the period but only for so long as is necessary to execute the works. This is anticipated to be for TWO DAYS. 

ALTERNATIVE ROUTE: A37 – Ridgeway Lane – Washing Pound Lane – Maggs Lane – vice versa. Access will be maintained for residents.

(TEMPORARY PROHIBITION OF USE BY VEHICLES) ORDER 2026

NOTICE IS GIVEN that Bath and North East Somerset Council in exercise of its powers under section 14 of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 intends to make an order the effect of which will be to temporarily introduce a road closure in that length of Temple Inn Lane, Temple Cloud from its junction with A37 Main Road extending north east for approximately 32 metres. USRN: 47917897.

This order is required because works are being or are proposed to be executed on or near the road for highway improvement works by Bath and North East Somerset Council from the 15th June 2026 for a maximum period of 18 months. 

The road will only be restricted as and when traffic signs are in position and may not be affected for the whole of the period but only for so long as is necessary to execute the works. Works are anticipated to be for TWO WEEKS.

ALTERNATIVE ROUTE: A37 – Cook’s Hill – Church Lane – Church Square – Bendalls Bridge – Marsh Lane – Temple Inn Lane – vice versa.

NOTICE IS GIVEN that Bath and North East Somerset Council in exercise of its powers under section 14 of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 intends to make an order the effect of which will be to temporarily introduce a road closure in that length of Grange Road, Saltford from a point outside 37 Grange Road. USRN: 47902996.

This order is required because works are being or are proposed to be executed on or near the road to enable Bristol Water to carry out a leaking lead replacement due to water quality failure from the 18th June 2026 for a maximum period of 6 months. 

The road will only be restricted as and when traffic signs are in position and may not be affected for the whole of the period but only for so long as is necessary to execute the works. Works are anticipated to be for TWO DAYS.

ALTERNATIVE ROUTE: Grange Road (remainder) – A4 Bath Road – Manor Road – Montague Road – Manor Road – Grange Road – vice versa.
