Suffolk County Council has made an order closing the C22 Foxhall Road, Ipswich from 45 metres west of the junction with Cauldwell Hall Road to 92 metres west of the junction with Tomline Road to facilitate the installation of a new electricity supply. Other co-ordinated works may also take place during this period.
Access will be open for pedestrians and cyclists.
The diversion route will be Heath Road, Woodbridge Road East, Spring Road and vice versa.
It is intended that the closure will operate from 29/05/2026 - 31/05/2026, but if necessary, the order may remain in force for 18 months (or longer if extended by the Minister).

Suffolk County Council has made an order closing the following roads in the following phases:
- A137 Vernon Street, Ipswich from 30 metres east of the junction with Little Whip Street to 30 metres eastbound
- A137 Vernon Street, Ipswich from 30 metres south of the junction with Dock Street to the junction with Little Whip Street.
This is to facilitate a gas replacement scheme. Other co-ordinated works may also take place during this period.

TEMPORARY CLOSURE AND SUSPENSION OF 7.5 TONNE WEIGHT RESTRICTION ON PART OF THE C496 GIPPING ROAD, IPSWICH ROAD AND STATION ROAD, GREAT BLAKENHAM AND CLAYDON
Suffolk County Council intends to make an order closing the C496 Gipping Road, Great Blakenham from the junction with Moses Walk to the junction with Masons Drive to facilitate flood alleviation works. Other co-ordinated works may also take place during this period.
Access will be open for pedestrians and cyclists.
The diversion route will be Gipping Road, Station Road, Ipswich Road, the B1113 Bramford Road, Gipping Road and vice versa.
For the duration of this closure there will be a suspension of the 7.5 tonne weight restriction on the:
- C496 Ipswich Road, Claydon from the roundabout with Bramford Road to Greyhound Corner
- C496 Station Road, Great Blakenham from Chapel Lane to Greyhound Corner, Claydon.
