(Mill Road, Wimbish) (Temporary Prohibition of Traffic) Order 2026
Notice is hereby given that the Essex County Council intends, not less than seven days from the date of this notice, to make the above Order under section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984.
Effect of the order: To temporarily close that length of Mill Road, Wimbish in the District of Uttlesford, from its junction with Munson Mill Close for a distance of approximately 30m in a north easterly direction. The closure is scheduled to commence on 21st June 2026 for 1 day, or where stated on a valid permit (EC30077975657- UK Power Networks). The scheduled dates may vary for these works with appropriate signs showing and/or displayed on one.network. The closure is required for the safety of the public and workforce while new installation works are undertaken by UK Power Networks.
An alternative route is available via Maple Lane, B1053, B184, Mill Road and vice versa.
The Order will come into effect on 4th June 2026 and may continue in force for 18 months or until the works have been completed, whichever is the earlier.
(Royston Road, Wendens Ambo) (Temporary Prohibition of Traffic) Order 2026
Notice is hereby given that the Essex County Council intends, not less than seven days from the date of this notice, to make the above Order under section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984.
Effect of the order: To temporarily close that length of Royston Road, Wendens Ambo in the District of Uttlesford, from a point approximately 120m north east of its junction with Church Street for a distance of approximately 30m in a south easterly direction. The closure is scheduled to commence on 22nd June 2026 for 3 days, or where stated on a valid permit (MX04410311658 – Affinity Water Limited). The scheduled dates may vary for these works with appropriate signs showing and/or displayed on one.network. The closure is required for the safety of the public and workforce while mains repair works are undertaken by Affinity Water Limited.
An alternative route is available via B1039, B1383, A1301, A505, B1368, B1039 and vice versa.

Notice is hereby given that the Essex County Council has made the above Order under section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984.
Effect of the order: To temporarily close that length of Arkesden Road, Clavering in the District of Uttlesford, from a point approximately 405m north east of its junction with Stickling Green for a distance of approximately 55m in a north easterly direction. The closure is scheduled to commence on 10th June 2026 for 2 days, or where stated on a valid permit (EC30039516184 – UK Power Networks). The scheduled dates may vary for these works with appropriate signs showing and/or displayed on one.network. The closure is required for the safety of the public and workforce while service installation works are undertaken by UKPower Networks.
An alternative route is available via Church Hill, Quicksie Hill, Wenden Road, Arkesden Road, B1039, Upper Pond Street, School Lane, Langley Road, Cogmore, Bull Lane, Park Lane, Langley Lower Green, Langley Road, Mills Road, Plantation Hill, Lower Road, B1038, Arkesden Road, Clatterbury Lane, Main Street and vice versa.
The Order came into effect on 21st May 2026 and may continue in force for 18 months or until the works have been completed, whichever is the earlier.
(Church Path, Hadstock) (Temporary Prohibition of Traffic) Order 2026
Notice is hereby given that the Essex County Council has made the above Order under section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984.
Effect of the order: To temporarily close that length of Church Path, Hadstock in the District of Uttlesford, from a point approximately 20m south east of its junction with Bartlow Road for a distance of approximately 30m in a southerly then north easterly direction. The closure is scheduled to commence on 9th June 2026 for 3 days, or where stated on a valid permit (MX04410309926 – Affinity Water Limited). The scheduled dates may vary for these works with appropriate signs showing and/or displayed on one.network. The closure is required for the safety of the public and workforce while frame and cover replacement works are undertaken by Affinity Water Limited.

Notice is hereby given that the Essex County Council has made the above Order under section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984.
Effect of the order: To temporarily close that length of Roman Road, Radwinter in the District of Uttlesford, from a point approximately 635m north east then north of its junction with Top Road for a distance of approximately 130m in a northerly then north easterly direction. The closure is scheduled to commence on 8th June 2026 for 2 days, or where stated on a valid permit (BC411002WG7LW77K-02 – Openreach Limited). The scheduled dates may vary for these works with appropriate signs showing and/or displayed on one.network. The closure is required for the safety of the public and workforce while telegraph pole replacement and associated cabling works are undertaken by Openreach Limited.
An alternative route is available via Roman Road, Princes Well, Church Hill, B1053, Maple Lane, Top Road, Roman Road and vice versa.
