Temporary Closure of Hansetown Road
Somerset Council in exercise of its powers under Section 14 (1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 as amended, propose to make an Order prohibiting all traffic from proceeding along: Hansetown Road - from 197 metres south-west of the junction with Venne Cottage To Hansetown Road, southwards for a total distance of 170 metres. This Order will enable Kier to carry out drainage works on behalf of Somerset Highways.
The Order becomes effective on 11th June 2026 and will remain in force for 18 months. The works are expected to commence on 15th June 2026 and last until 23rd June 2026 between the hours of 00:00 - 23:59 for a total of 9 days.
