ROAD TRAFFIC REGULATION ACT 1984 SECTION 14
(TEMPORARY PROHIBITION OF TRAFFIC) ORDER 2026

(FOOTPATH BRIGHOUSE 099, RASTRICK)

NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that Calderdale Council because of works by Gleeson South and West Yorkshire have made an Order the effect of which will be that no person shall proceed in the length of Footpath Brighouse 099 from its junction with Quarry Road for a distance of approximately 181 metres. PROVIDED THAT such prohibition shall not extend to persons carrying out works on or near the footpath. The alternative route follow diversion on site. It is proposed that the Order will come into operation on 1st June 2026 and remain in force for a maximum 6 months, notwithstanding that the works may be completed sooner and the road re-opened on 30th November 2026. The Order will be in operation 24 hours daily during this period.

(PLANE TREE NEST LANE, HALIFAX)

NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that Calderdale Council, because of works by Yorkshire Water have made an Order the effect of which will be that no person shall cause or permit any vehicle to proceed in the length of Plane Tree Nest Lane from its junction with Plane Tree Nest to Trimmingham Lane for a distance of approximately 20 metres. PROVIDED THAT such prohibition shall not extend to vehicles being used in connection with works being carried out and pedestrian access is maintained at all times and access for emergency vehicles is maintained to closure point. The alternative route is via Trimmingham Lane, Burnley Road, Warley Road. It is proposed that the Order will come into operation on 1st June 2026 and remain in force for a maximum 18 months, notwithstanding that the works may be completed sooner and the road re-opened on 2nd June 2026. The Order will be in operation 24 hours daily during this period.

(WALKER LANE, OLD TOWN)

NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that Calderdale Council, because of works by Spectrum Comms Solutions Ltd have made an Order the effect of which will be that no person shall cause or permit any vehicle to proceed in the length of Walker Lane from its junction with Lane Ends Lane to Ibbotroyd Farm for a distance of approximately 200 metres. PROVIDED THAT such prohibition shall not extend to vehicles being used in connection with works being carried out and pedestrian access is maintained at all times and access for emergency vehicles is maintained to closure point. The alternative route is via unaffected part of Walker Lane, Parrock Lane, Sandy Gater, Sandy Gate Lane and vice versa. It is proposed that the Order will come into operation on 1st June 2026 and remain in force for a maximum 18 months, notwithstanding that the works may be completed sooner and the road re-opened on 3rd June 2026. The Order will be in operation 24 hours daily during this period.

(LONG GATE, RISHWORTH)

NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that Calderdale Council, because of works by Spectrum Comms Solutions Ltd have made an Order the effect of which will be that no person shall cause or permit any vehicle to proceed in the length of Long Gate from its junction with Long Causeway to Pike Law Cottage for a distance of approximately 150 metres. PROVIDED THAT such prohibition shall not extend to vehicles being used in connection with works being carried out and pedestrian access is maintained at all times and access for emergency vehicles is maintained to closure point. The alternative route is via Rishworth New Road, Oldham Road, Pike End Road, unaffected part of Long Gate and vice versa. It is proposed that the Order will come into operation on 1st June 2026 and remain in force for a maximum 18 months, notwithstanding that the works may be completed sooner and the road re-opened on 12th June 2026. The Order will be in operation 24 hours daily during this period.

(HOB LANE, NORLAND)

NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that Calderdale Council, because of works by OCU Group intend to make an Order the effect of which will be that no person shall cause or permit any vehicle to proceed in the length of Hob Lane from its junction with Goose Nest Lane to New Hobbit Hotel for a distance of approximately 50 metres. PROVIDED THAT such prohibition shall not extend to vehicles being used in connection with works being carried out and pedestrian access is maintained at all times and access for emergency vehicles is maintained. The alternative route is via Hob Lane, Sowerby Croft Lane, Shaw Lane, Hob Lane and vice versa. It is proposed that the Order will come into operation on 15th June 2026 and remain in force for a maximum 18 months, notwithstanding that the works may be completed sooner and the road re-opened on 3rd July 2026 The Order will be in operation 24 hours daily during this period.

(JIM ALLEN LANE, MIDGLEY)

NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that Calderdale Council, because of works by OCU Group intend to make an Order the effect of which will be that no person shall cause or permit any vehicle to proceed in the length of Jim Allen Lane from its junction with St Georges Street to 6 Valley Road for a distance of approximately 20 metres. PROVIDED THAT such prohibition shall not extend to vehicles being used in connection with works being carried out and pedestrian access is maintained at all times and access for emergency vehicles is maintained. The alternative route is via Naylor Lane, Ellen Royd Lane, Burnley Road, Midgley Road, Town Gate and vice versa. It is proposed that the Order will come into operation on 15th June 2026 and remain in force for a maximum 18 months, notwithstanding that the works may be completed sooner and the road re-opened on 19th June 2026. The Order will be in operation 24 hours daily during this period.

(KINGSTON STREET, HALIFAX)

NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that Calderdale Council, because of works by Northern Gas Networks intend to make an Order the effect of which will be that no person shall cause or permit any vehicle to proceed in the length of Kingston Street from its junction with Hopwood Lane to No. 36 for a distance of approximately 127 metres. PROVIDED THAT such prohibition shall not extend to vehicles being used in connection with works being carried out and pedestrian access is maintained at all times and access for emergency vehicles is maintained to closure point. The alternative route is via Hopwood Lane, Queens Road and vice versa. It is proposed that the Order will come into operation on 15th June 2026 and remain in force for a maximum 18 months, notwithstanding that the works may be completed sooner and the road re-opened on 17th July 2026. The Order will be in operation 24 hours daily during this period.

(STOCKS DRIVE, MYTHOLMROYD)

NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that Calderdale Council, because of works by Yorkshire Water intend to make an Order the effect of which will be that no person shall cause or permit any vehicle to proceed in the length of Stocks Drive from Thrush Hill Road to No. 8 for a distance of approximately 50 metres. PROVIDED THAT such prohibition shall not extend to vehicles being used in connection with works being carried out and pedestrian access is maintained at all times and access for emergency vehicles is maintained. The alternative route is via Thrush Hill Road, Nest Lane. It is proposed that the Order will come into operation on 15th June 2026 and remain in force for a maximum 18 months, notwithstanding that the works may be completed sooner and the road re-opened on 19th June 2026. The Order will be in operation 24 hours daily during this period.

(WADSWORTH LANE, HEBDEN BRIDGE)

NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that Calderdale Council, because of works by Aureos intend to make an Order the effect of which will be that no person shall cause or permit any vehicle to proceed in the length of Wadsworth Lane from its junction with Height Road to Burlees Lane for a distance of approximately 668 metres. PROVIDED THAT such prohibition shall not extend to vehicles being used in connection with works being carried out and pedestrian access is maintained at all times and access for emergency vehicles is maintained. The alternative route is via unaffected part of Wadsworth Lane, Sandy Gate, Walker Lane, Billy Lane, Nook Lane, Height Road. It is proposed that the Order will come into operation on 16th June 2026 and remain in force for a maximum 18 months, notwithstanding that the works may be completed sooner and the road re-opened on 17th June 2026. The Order will be in operation daily during this period between the hours of 09:00 & 17:00.

(HARPER ROYD LANE, SOWERBY BRIDGE)

NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that Calderdale Council, because of works by Aureos intend to make an Order the effect of which will be that no person shall cause or permit any vehicle to proceed in the length of Harper Royd Lane from its junction with Hollins Lane to Sowerby Croft Lane for a distance of approximately 336 metres. PROVIDED THAT such prohibition shall not extend to vehicles being used in connection with works being carried out and pedestrian access is maintained at all times and access for emergency vehicles is maintained. The alternative route is via Hob Lane, Shaw Lane, Sowerby Croft Lane and vice versa. It is proposed that the Order will come into operation on 18th June 2026 and remain in force for a maximum 18 months, notwithstanding that the works may be completed sooner and the road re-opened on 19th June 2026. The Order will be in operation daily during this period between the hours of 09:00 & 17:00.

(STAINLAND ROAD, ELLAND)

NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that Calderdale Council, because of works intend to make an Order the effect of which will be that no person shall cause or permit any vehicle to proceed in the length of Stainland Road from its junction with Rochdale Road to A629 roundabout for a distance of approximately 870 metres. PROVIDED THAT such prohibition shall not extend to vehicles being used in connection with works being carried out and pedestrian access is maintained at all times and access for emergency vehicles is maintained. The alternative route is via unaffected part of Stainland Road, New Hey Road, Lindley Moor Road, Calderdale Way, Elland Wood Bottom and vice versa. It is proposed that the Order will come into operation on 15th June 2026 and remain in force for a maximum 18 months, notwithstanding that the works may be completed sooner and the road re-opened on 17th July 2026. The Order will be in operation daily during this period between the hours of 20:00 & 06:00.
