(TEMPORARY PROHIBITION OF TRAFFIC) ORDER 202_
NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that National Highways Limited(a) intends to make an Order on the M1 Motorway in the City of Milton Keynes to enable nearby third-party bridge joint replacement and waterproofing works to be carried out in safety.
The works are expected to take place over 1 weekend (10pm Friday to 5am Monday), starting on, or after Friday 19 June 2026.
The effect of the Order would be to close, 24 hours daily for the duration of the works, the M1 northbound exit slip road at Junction 14 – diverting traffic to continue on the M1 northbound to J15 then via the A45 and M1 southbound to J14 and continue their journey. The closure (which would not apply to emergency services, works or traffic officer vehicles) and diversion route would be clearly indicated by traffic signs.
The Order would come into force on 15 June 2026 and may continue in force until the works detailed above have been completed, or for a maximum duration of eighteen months, whichever is the earlier.
